(1) Locking, unlocking the door The operational range for locking/ unlocking the doors is up to 80cm(2.6ft) from the center of the front door handles. (2) Starting the engine The operational range for starting the engine includes nearly the entire cabin area. 2) Locking, Unlocking the Doors with Request Switch Both doors can be locked/unlocked by pressing the request switch on the doors while the transmitter is being carried. (1) To lock To lock the doors, press the request switch. A beep sound will be beard once and the hazard warning lights will flash once. (2) To unlock To unlock the driverâs door, press the request switch. A beep sound will beard twice and the hazard warning lights will flash twice. 3) Starting the engine Transmitter must be carried by the driver. (1) Slowly press in the start knob. (2) When the KEY indicator(green) illuminates, turn the start knob to START position to start the engine. 4) Turning off the engine Turn the start knob to the ACC position to turn off the engine. 2.Keyless entry Functions The operation indicator light flashes when the buttons are pressed. Keyless entry operation is designed to operate up to about 2.5m (8ft) from the Center of the vehicle. 1) Lock To lock the doors, press the lock button on the transmitter. A beep sound will be beard once and the hazard warning lights will flash once. 2) Unlock To unlock the doors, press the unlock button on the transmitter. A beep sound will be beard twice and the hazard warning lights will flash twice.
