Installation Manual Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Inazawa WorksThere is no manual for end user, since this module is not sold directly to end user. This “Installation Manual” is a manual for assembly into end product. 1. About Installation of UCR-8303-P Attach the Front Case of UCR-8303-P to UCR-8303. UCR-8303 (Proximity Card Reader module) Front Case of UCR-8303-P 2. About Installation of UCR-8303-P-EL Attach the Front Case of UCR-8303-P-EL to UCR-8303. UCR-8303 (Proximity Card Reader module) Front Case of UCR-8303-P-EL ・This module has been performed the testing with Front Case of UCR-8303-P because this module does not have its own RF shielding. Therefore this module must be equipped only the similar case. This manual describes how to installation of main product UCR-8303-P and UCR-8303P-EL. ・If the FCC ID is not visible when this module is installed inside the end product, then the following sentence has to be displayed on the outside of the end product: “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: YS34D454C2D5003” or “Contains FCC ID: YS34D454C2D5003” ・An authorized cable with ferrite core is attached to end product. Properly authorized cable with a ferrite core must be used for connection to controllers in order to meet FCC emission limits. -Modification of attached cable is not approved (for example, location of ferrite core, number of turns in a ferrite core etc.). *Ferrite core, Model No. GRFC-7 (Manufacture : KGS), 6.5cm from a connector, 3turns. ・Follow sentence must be described in the operation manual for end product with this module. “This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.” “FCC WARNING Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.” ・Don’t use it out of operating temperature range (-10deg.C. to +40deg.C.).
