APPLICATIONS
These manual describe the contactless smart card reader “RDFL-B03” which is a reading device for
exclusive use of the card key for Hotel Card Lock `ALV2” and manage the guest Room and the facilities
of the Hotel.
SUMMARY
2-1.Contactless Smart Card Reader
(1) This is card reader for exclusive use of the entrance of the Hotel Card Lock “ALV2” , which
reads key data of the card key and output the signal.
(2) When a contactless smart card issued by card issuing machine installed in the front desk is
used, it collates the various information such as a Hotel code and room number with stored data.
If the card is confirmed valid, it output the signal to the external system.

Detail of function
(1) Bring a card key close to the contactless smart card reader.
(2) The contactless smart card reader reads the key data and if the data accords with the database,
signal is sent the external system.
Collation data:
1) Hotel code
2) Validity of the card key. (from check-in time to check-out time)
3) Room number of the key.
(3)If the card key is valid, the LED lights blue. In case of invalid card key, the LED lights red.

5-1. USA-Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
