Contact your service provider for details.When you turn on your new smartphone, you can create or enter a Google™ account so that you can download apps, use Gmail™, and much more:  1Press and hold the Power/Lock Key  to turn on your smartphone.2Touch the Android™ icon to begin setup.3Touch to Create a Google account, Sign in with one you have, or Skip.You can log into your account from a computer at www.accounts.google.com.4When your smartphone confirms the account, it shows account sync options.•Touch the Google account name, to choose whether to sync your Google account’s contacts, Gmail™, and calendar.Power/Lock KeyPress = sleep.Hold = turn off.
7Let’s go•To add another account, touch Menu  > Accounts & sync > Add account. For details, see “Email” on page 33.•To exit setup, touch Home .If your smartphone cannot connect, touch Menu  > Settings > Wireless & networks to change mobile network settings.Wi-Fi connectUse a Wi-Fi network for even faster Internet access. Touch the status bar at the top of the home screen and drag it down. Touch the Wi-Fi networks available notification to select a preferred network.You can also touch Menu  >Settings >Wireless & networks >Wi-Fi settings to search for and connect to wireless networks. There’s more in “connections” on page 49.Cool content & moreBrowse and download thousands of the coolest apps on the planet from Android Market™.Download new apps with “Browse & install apps” on page 18. An optional microSD memory card can be installed in your smartphone—you can load it up with photos, videos, and music from your computer (see “connections” on page 49).
8Let’s goActivate SIM cardsYour smartphone supports two SIM cards. When two SIM cards are installed, you can activate one or both.  1From the home screen, touch Menu  > Settings > SIM management, and select Slot 1, Slot 1 or both.2Set Voice call, messaging, data connection, roaming and contacts & SIM to SIM 1 or SIM 2.Note: If only one SIM card is installed, it is activated by default.Note: Only SIM 1 supports 3G data network.

To change the sleep delay, touch Menu  > Settings > Display > Screen timeout.To unlock the screen, drag  to the outer circle.Tip: To access all your favorite apps from a lock screen, see “motoswitch” on page 10.
