The insert will be 3” x 5”, printed on bright colored paper stock (e.g. Yellow, Orange etc), with black type. IMPORTANTFCC Licensing InformationThis Motorola radio operates on General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)frequencies and is subject to the Rules of the Federal CommunicationsCommission (FCC). The FCC requires the issuance of a radio licensebefore operating on GMRS frequencies.Instructions on applying for the license are included in the User’sGuide. For more GMRS information, seehttp://www.fcc.gov/wtb/prs/genmbl.htmlViolations of FCC rules and unlicensed operation on GMRS frequencies maysubject the radio operator to serious penalties as provided in Sections501 and 502 of the Communications Act, as amended.When operating on Channels 1–7or15–22,this radio is using GMRSfrequencies. In addition to having a license before using thesechannels, every GMRS user must cooperate in sharing channels with otherGMRS users by monitoring the channel before initiating transmissions,waiting until communications in progress are completed before initiatingtransmissions except in an emergency, engaging in only permissiblecommunications, limiting transmissions to the minimum practicaltransmission time, and using the call sign issued by the FCC for stationidentification.
