• This device is not designed or cerfied to be used in a
flammable atmosphere such as a petrol staon or chemical
depot where there is a risk of explosion.
• Keep out of reach of children or pets.
• Do not incinerate or crush.

The Luxe Family of devices must be used within the operang condions, electrical supply requirements, environmental condions and connecon requirements as specified below:
• Power Supply: These devices must be connected to the correct electrical supply. Connecon to an inappropriate supply may
damage or destroy this device(s), thereby invalidang its warranty(s).
• Only operate these devices within the temperature range of 0 °C - 45 °C.
• Hazardous Environments: These devices must NOT be installed in locaons where there is danger of explosion.

NOTICES
If a power supply was NOT shipped with the Luxe terminal or if there is NOT an immediately available power supply to use with
the Luxe terminal, use the following when selecng and using a suitable power supply:
• Must use Equinox P/N 870087-00x or 870088-00x or
• Must use a suitably safety Listed power supply, output rated 9-12Vdc 1A or greater AND must be a cerfied Limited Power
Source (marked “LPS”).

as it may damage or scratch the device/screen.
• Do NOT immerse device in any liquid.
• Do NOT spray water or cleaner into MSR or Smart
Card Reader slots or ports.
Apply distilled water or mild cleaner on to a soft, lint free cloth. To clean, gently wipe down the terminal.

STEP 1: Turn Terminal Over & Insert Cable

STEP 4: Turn Terminal Over & Connect Power Source

ACCESSORIES
NOTE: To remove cable, disconnect power source and then turn the terminal over. Use screwdriver to remove
the screw from the cable end. Push cable end in (against the terminal), then lift (rotate) cable up to remove.
Visually inspect both the MSR & Smart Card Reader slots for any foreign objects that may obstruct, hamper or prevent the
sliding or inserting of your card. If an object exists, do NOT use the device and immediately notify your supervisor for the
device may be comprised. If no objects exists, use device as normal.
