Trouble Shooting Play from an external device If the music player does not supply the Bluetooth function, you can also listen to an external audio device through this speaker using audio 3.5mm cable ( not included ). 1. First connect the 3.5mm audio plug to the 3.5mm AUDIO output or earphone jack on an MP3 player, plug another 3.5mm jack to the AUX IN socket on your speaker. 2. Speaker will switch to Line In mode automatically. 3. If you want to adjust the volume level of your speaker, only adjust the volume control on the connected MP3 player. 4. If you want to Play/pause the music play, just control the native buttons on your MP3 player. Symptom Possible problem and solution Cannot pair successfully Check whether the speaker is in power on and searching mode. Check whether there are too many Bluetooth receivers around your Bluetooth device. Turn them off to avoid any disturbance. And pair again. The sound is small or distorted Check the volume setting on your Bluetooth device and adjust the volume to a suitable level. Cannot play properly, the music is intermittently Check whether the distannce between the speaker and your Bluetooth device is out of its working distance 10m, or whether there are some obstacles blocking the communication between the speaker and the Bluetooth device. Move the speaker or the Bluetooth again to get the best position. No sound from the speaker when playing music via bluetooth Check the bluetooth is connected and the volume setting on your Bluetooth device. Check the AUX-IN cable is unpluged. Note: In power on mode, the AUX in function is effective if the AUX in cable is connected although the Bluetooth indicator lights continually; the Buletooth function is effective if the AUX in cable is disconnected. Press and hold the power switch to turn on the speaker. The blue LED indicator will be flashing shows Bluetooth pairing. 3. The Speaker starts searching for Bluetooth device. 4. Turn on your Bluetooth device (iPod/iPhone, mobile phone or compatible device). Refer to the device user manual to activate the Bluetooth function and pair with the Bluetooth device. 5. For Apple iPhone select Settings, General, Bluetooth and wait for the iPhone to search for the device 6. Select the “CUBIC” device from Bluetooth list, Tap the “Not Connected” to pair the device. 7. Once paired the LED indicator will stop the flash. You can listen to a Bluetooth device through this speaker. Note: the effective operation range between the speaker and your Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters in open air. 1. Switch on to turn on Bluetooth function. Activate the Bluetooth function in your Bluetooth device. Play music from your Bluetooth device and enjoy it on your Bluetooth speaker. 2. To adjust speaker volume by touch and rotate clockwise / anti-clockwise on the Bluetooth Speaker. 3. To Pause and resume play of the music track, press the Play/Pause on the Bluetooth Speaker. Remark: 1. If the device has already been paired to the speaker before, then just select CUBIC and it will pair again.
