Place the speaker and the smart phone or music player in proximity so that both devices are in view. 4. Switch the power button risht to turn on. A blue light will flash and a tone will sound to let you know the device is in pairing mode. Make sure your Bluetooth device is not already paired. 5. Check your smartphone or music player for the speaker under the Bluetooth pairing options and select “EL149” for pairing. Answer / Reject / End a call Speaker output: 3 Watts, 45mm Wireless Version: V4.2 Controls Description Operation distance: 33 Feet POWER SWITCH : Push to the left to turn on and right to turn off. MICROPHONE : For use as a hands-free speaker phone. TF CARD : MicroSD/TF Card Slot: Insert TF/MicroSD card into slot to play music. MICRO USB/AUX : Micro USB Charging Input/AUX M MODE : Toggle between Bluetooth, Aux-in, and FM Scan Radio. PAUSE/PLAY: To pause/play the music or answer/end call. Press and Release: To play/pause the music in TF Card, AUX, and Bluetooth mode. Press once: To search the station automatically in FM mode. PREVIOUS: Decrease the volume / previous song / previous station in FM mode. Press and Release: For previous song in TF Card, AUX, and Bluetooth mode / Previous station in FM mode. Press and hold to decrease the volume. NEXT: Increase volume / Next song / Next station. Press and Release: For next song in TF Card, AUX, and Bluetooth mode / Next station in FM mode. Press and hold to increase the volume. Controls NEXT/PREVIOUS, Volume Up/Down, PAUSE/PLAY, Answer/End Call: You may also use the functions on your smart phone or music player to control these functions. Rechargeable lithium Ion battery: 400 mAh, 5V (+/- .5V) During a call, the ring is heard through the speaker when paired. 1. Press the PAUSE/PLAY button to answer the call. 2. You may also accept or decline a call using your phone’s functions. 3. To end a call, press the PAUSE/PLAY button during the call. You may also end the call using your phone’s functions. Plug the 3.5mm cord into your device’s headphone jack and the Micro USB plug into the speaker and play. Please Note: If NEXT, PREVIOUS, and PAUSE/PLAY functions are not available in AUX Line-In mode then use your phone/music player controls. Charging TF Card Mode Plug the micro USB end of the charging cable into the Charging port of the speaker and then connect the USB end of the charging cable to the USB port of your PC or other USB power source. The red LED light will light up during charging and turn off after fully charged. It is strongly recommended that the speaker be fully charged before first use and after long periods of inactivity. Plug the TF Card into the slot and use the Bluetooth protocols for the button functions.Support MP3 and WAV audio format only. Wireless Pairing 1. Please check to make sure the device to which you are pairing has Bluetooth capabilities. This information should be included in your phone or music player’s instructions or packaging. 2. Make sure that the speaker is turned off. FM Scan Radio Mode Press the MODE button and cycle until the speaker says “Enter radio and playing”. Operate the station selections by using the Bluetooth protocols for the button functions. Plug-in the USB AUX Cable to receive Radio reception. Seek next and previous stations by using the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons and control the volume by longer pressing those same control buttons. Precautions • Please only use the computer USB or the DC 5V power adapter matching the Micro USB interface to charge. Only use quality cords and adapters. • Please keep and use in normal environments. Exposure to extreme elements such as extreme heat and cold, fire, excessive moisture, dust, or other extreme elements may damage the unit. Do not touch with wet hands. • Keep debris or other items from blocking the speakers or from entering any of the ports. • Do not attempt to open, repair, or take apart the speaker. The speaker may be damaged during that process. • If the speaker quality seems lessened, or a slight popping noise is heard, it may be due to low battery. (Recharge) • This item is not meant for children. • Do not overcharge the battery. TROUBLESHOOTING No Sound • Make sure that the music player is working and that the speaker is charged. • Make sure the Bluetooth is paired, the AUX cable is plugged in properly on both ends, or the TF/MicroSD card is inserted properly. Not charging • Check to make sure that you are using the correct cable and that it is fully plugged into both the device and the USB port that you are charging from. Also check to make sure the PC or other USB charger is turned on.
