WELCOME!
Thank you for choosing NVIDIA® SHIELD.
The following equipment is included in the SHIELD box.
SETUP
1. Press the NVIDIA button to power on your SHIELD.
2. The SHIELD device tutorial will walk you through some basic button
and overview functions.
3. Once you finish the SHIELD device tutorial, follow the instructions in
the Android setup wizard to connect to your Wi-Fi and log-in to your
existing Google account. If you don’t have an existing Google account,
you have the option to create one.
TIP: Use either the touch screen display or the physical
controls to navigate and type.
QUICK START GUIDE
1 To charge your SHIELD, connect the included USB cable to the
micro-USB port on the back side of the device.
TIP: For the fastest charging time, NVIDIA recommends using
the included USB cable and AC adapter.

2. SHIELD STORE: Browse and download the latest SHIELD-optimized
games.
Press down to see the complete library of available SHIELD-
optimized Android games.
3. PC Games: Connect to your GeForce GTX PC here to stream PC games.
TIP: For GeForce game streaming system requirements and
setup information, please visit shield.nvidia.com/pc.
TEGRAZONE
After setup is complete, you can press the NVIDIA button at any
time to launch TegraZone to play SHIELD games, find new games,
and stream games from your GeForce GTX PC.
TIP: Navigate through TegraZone using the d-pad or left stick.
Jump to each section using the bumpers.

games will appear here.
Press down to see all your installed SHIELD-optimized games.
