Getting Started
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the GPS watch. This GPS watch is packed with personal Training
features like speed, trip time, laps, etc. GPS can display your current location in an electronic
map. Watch features include 12/24H Time format, Chronograph, World time, 5 daily Alarms, 6
Interval Timers, Run, Run Data, HRM, ALTI and Set modes. This watch can communicate with
a PC to store and review your performance. This watch uses a rechargeable battery that can
be charged through USB port of your PC. It also uses HRM belt with 2.4 GHz technology to
monitor your heart rate for all your HR related information.
Step 1) Know your watch:

Caring for your GPS watch:
Clean your GPS watch with a dampened cloth preferably with mild detergent solution. Wipe dry
using a dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners and solvents that may damage plastic
components.
Do not store your GPS watch to prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures as this may
result to permanent damage to your unit.
About GPS:
Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite- based navigation system made up of a network
of 24 or more satellites. GPS works best in clear weather condition, anywhere in the world, 24
hours a day. Tall buildings may interfere with GPS accuracy. When 3 satellite signals are
received, the watch will have 2D GPS fixed (Latitude and Longitude). When 4 or more satellite
signals are received, the watch will have 3D GPS Fixed.
Water immersion:
This GPS watch is designed to be water resistant up to 3 ATM. It can resist water pressure up
to 30 meters. After submersion to water, please make sure to wipe dry and air dry the unit
before using or charging.
Caution: This unit is not intended to be used while swimming. Prolonged water submersion
may cause electronic shorting in the unit which may cause minor skin burn or irritation.

Step 2) Charging the Battery:
Step 3) Configure your watch:
Charge the unit for at least 4.0 hours before first use. The length of time for a fully charged
battery will last depending on the actual usage. It is recommended to regularly re-charge your
battery every 1-2 months even if it is not used to maintain good battery condition.
Before using your GPS watch, User can opt to do the following.
2.1) Plug your USB cable to your PC
2.2) Align the charging clip with the 4 contact pins on the back of the watch.
3.1) Go to SET mode to set the following parameters: AUTO LAP, TIME, UNIT, USER’ details,
HRM, HRM LINK, NIGHT, CONTRAST, CHIME, ALARM and TIMER.
Step 4) Acquire Satellite signals:
To get the correct time of day and begin using your GPS watch, you have to acquire GPS
signals. It may take few minutes to acquire the satellite signals.
4.1) Go outside to an open area away from tall buildings and trees. Orient the GPS antenna
towards the sky for best reception. The antenna is located at the 6 o’clock position of the
watch.
Note: In order to accurately navigate the GPS, you need to have a good line of sight to the
satellites.
2.3) Connect the charging clip securely to the watch.
4.2) Stand still and do not begin moving while searching the Satellite signals until the signals
are already received.
Note: Please thoroughly dry the charging contacts and surrounding area to ensure proper
electrical contact and prevent corrosion.
4.3) How to turn ON the GPS: While in Time mode, press S1 or S7 to go to RUN mode. The
watch will start locating the satellites “SEARCH GPS”. After receiving the GPS signals, it
will automatically go to RUN mode and the watch will display “GPS GO” while the
“CHRONO” blinks.
Also note that the watch will display the relative signal strength indicator on the upper side
(12H position).
When the battery is low, it is time to charge the GPS watch. The possible screen when you
charge your watch. Once the battery is full, it will display CHARGE 100% FULL.
Battery low condition:
You cannot turn ON the GPS when the battery is low. The watch will display BATT LOW. The
battery icon will also blink. You need to recharge the battery in order to use the GPS again.
When the battery is almost low and you still perform your exercise, your data may not be saved
if the battery becomes low. Please make sure the battery have enough battery power before
doing your exercise in order not to lose your data.
When the battery level becomes very low, the watch will automatically turn OFF the display
(blank-screen).
4.4) How to turn OFF the GPS: If you wish to turn OFF the GPS, press and hold S7 in Time
mode for about 3 seconds and the watch will momentarily display GPS OFF and then
return to Time view.

GPS signals and its meaning:
5.5) If the heart rate data does not appear on the watch, or if you have erratic data, follow the
tips below. If the problem persists, you may have to pair the HR belt again.

You will hear a beep sound when the watch has received a GPS signal or when the GPS
signal has been lost. LOST GPS signal will also be displayed in the screen.
Step 5) Pair your Heart Rate monitor:
The HRM belt is on standby and ready to send data to your watch. Wear the belt directly on
your skin just below your breastplate. It should be snug enough to stay in place during your
run.
5.1) Push one tab on the strap through the slot in the HRM transmitter.
5.2) Wet both electrodes with a damp cloth on the back of the HRM belt. This will help create a
strong electrical connection between your chest and the HRM transmitter.
Make sure the HR belt is snugly fit to your body.
Reapply water or electrode gel to the electrode of the HR belt.
Clean the electrodes from possible contamination that may interfere with heart
rate signals.
Wear a cotton shirt or if possible, wet your cotton shirt. Synthetic fabric that rubs
with your skin may create static electricity and interfere with the heart rate signal.
Move away from strong electromagnetic fields and other wireless sensors which
can interfere with your heart rate sensor. Possible sources of wireless
interference may include high voltage power lines, electric motors, microwave
ovens, cordless phones, and wireless LAN or access points.
Step 6) Go for a Run:
6.1) Using Run mode:
6.1.1) Press S1 or S7 from Time mode to go to RUN mode.
6.1.2) The watch will prompt you to GPS GO (if Satellite signal already received)
or INDOOR (if no signal received yet).
6.1.3) The watch will also display the remaining BATTERY power level, remaining
DATA TRACK MEMORY and then display view 1. Press S5 to change views.
6.1.4) Press S1 to start or re-start while press S5 to take LAP. If auto lap
function is set, the watch will take lap automatically based on auto lap setting
and there is a beep sound during taking of auto lap.
6.1.5) Press S1 to stop after completing your run.
6.1.6) Press and hold S1 or press S11 to save your run data.
Note: When the chronograph is stopped or reset, after 15 minutes if no key operation
the GPS will automatically turn OFF and return to time mode.
5.3) Wrap around the chest belt around your rib cage just below the pectoral muscles and
attach the other end of the strap to the HRM transmitter. The elastic strap should be
adjusted so that it is snug enough so that it will not move during use but not so tight as to
restrict breathing.
6.2) Using Chronograph mode:
RUN mode and CHRONOGRAPH mode has the same timer counter. When the chronograph
is started or stopped in RUN mode, the same thing happens in Chronograph mode. They just
differ in the views. This mode is dedicated to chronograph, lap time, exercise time, and
distance travelled.
6.2.1) Press S7 from RUN mode to go to CHRO mode.
6.2.2) Press S1 to START or RESTART while press S5 to take LAP. If auto lap
function is set, the watch will take lap automatically based on auto lap setting
and there is a beep sound during taking of auto lap.
6.2.3) Press S1 to stop after completing your run.
6.2.4) Press and hold S1 or press S11 to save your run data.
5.4) Bring the GPS watch within range of the HRM transmitter (3 meters). The watch will auto
detect the HR belt. The watch will then automatically go to RUN mode. Your Heart rate
information will now be displayed in the watch.
Note: When the chronograph is stopped or reset, after 15 minutes if no key operation
the GPS will automatically turn OFF and return to time mode.

6.3) Using HRM mode:
Watch reset:
RUN mode and HRM mode has the same timer counter. When the chronograph is started or
stopped in RUN mode, the same thing happens in HRM mode. They just differ in the views.
This mode is dedicated to HRM views
The user can reset the watch by pressing and holding S1, S5, S7 and S11 together. All
segments will be light on, then EL backlight ON. The software code will be displayed. The
watch will be reset. Below are the reset views.
6.3.1) Press S5 or S7 from Time to HRM mode.
6.3.2) Press S1 to START or RESTART while press S5 to TAKE LAP. If auto lap
function is set, the watch will take lap automatically based on auto lap setting.
There is also a beep sound during taking auto lap.
6.3.3) Press S1 to stop after completing your run.
6.3.4) Press and hold S1 or press S11 to save your run data.
Step 6) Download your data to PC:
The watch comes with PC software to make communication between your watch and PC easy
and enjoyable. Please install the PC software to your PC using the installer provided. The
watch is using a USB PC link cable to connect the watch to PC.
Run the GPS PC software on your PC. Plug the USB cable with the watch clamped in the
other end of the cable. PC software will then prompt you to download the data. Click the
download button to begin downloading. The PC software will prompt to delete the data in the
watch. User has the option to delete the data in the watch or not.
The PC software installation and instruction guide can be found at the end of this manual.
Please take time to read the guide.
General Operations
The watch has the following main modes: Time, Run, Chronograph, HRM, Run Data, Timer,
Alarm and Set modes. Press S7 to scroll through these modes.
EL backlight:
This watch has a Night mode function. Following are the options in SET mode and their
functions:
10 SECONDS – Press S11 will turn ON the Light for 10 seconds.
20 SECONDS – Press S11 will turn ON the Light for 20 seconds.
NIGHT ON – Light will continuously ON when CHRONO is running from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am.
TIME mode
Press S7 from SET mode to TIME mode. There are 2 views in time mode. Press and hold S3
to toggle T1 and T2 views. Following are the views with the corresponding information
displayed:
View 1 Æ Time 1, Week day, Month, Date, Battery level indicator and GPS relative signal
strength (if Satellite is received).
View 2 Æ Time 2, Week day, Month, Date, Battery level indicator and GPS relative signal
strength (if Satellite is received).
Note: While in Time mode, User has an option to use a short cut key, press S1 to go to RUN
mode while press S5 to go to ALTI mode.

TIME/NIGHT/CONTRAST/CHIME setting in Time mode:
Press and hold S11 until the “TIME” blinks. Press S1 or S11 to select any of the sub views:
TIME, NIGHT, CONTRAST and CHIME setting. Press S5 to enter selected sub-views. Press
S1 or S11 to change the value. Press S5 again to confirm. Press S7 to exit setting.
EXERCISE modes
The watch has the following major exercise modes: RUN, CHRONOGRAPH and HRM modes.
After setting the watch, the user can now start doing the various exercise modes.
RUN mode:
TIME 1 setting in SET mode:
You have two options in setting the watch, GPS or MANUAL. In manual setting, you can
manually set the time. If you select the GPS option, the watch will be automatically set based
on the data and time data from GPS satellites.

Also note that if the GPS is already ON when you enter the RUN mode, the watch will prompt
“GPS GO, PACE and the CHRONO time blinks.
GPS setting:
¾ Select TIME ZONE by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Select DST ON or OFF by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Select 12H or 24H format setting by pressing S1 or S11. Press S5 to enter.
¾ Select M-D or D-M (Month/Day or Day/Month) format setting by pressing S1 or S11.
Press S5 to enter.
AUTO LAP/UNIT/USER setting in RUN mode:
MANUAL setting:
¾ Set the HOUR by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the Minute by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the SECOND by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the YEAR by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the MONTH by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the DATE by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the 12/24H by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
¾ Select M-D or D-M (Month/Day or Day/Month) format setting by pressing S1 or S11.
Press S5 to enter.
If the power level of the battery is low, the GPS cannot be turned on. The watch will display
BATT. LOW.
Press and hold S11 until the “AUTO LAP” blinks. Press S1 or S11 to select any of the sub
views: AUTO LAP, UNIT and USER setting. Press S5 to enter selected sub-views. Press S1
or S11 to change the value. Press S5 again to confirm. Press S7 to exit setting.
RUN mode Views: Note while CHRO is running, press & hold S5 will allow the User to
change middle views (DISTANCE, PACE, SPEED, HRM, CALORIE, CLOCK, ALTI and
CHRONO).
TIME 2 setting in SET mode:
You have two options in setting the watch, GPS or MANUAL. In manual setting, you can
manually set the time. If you select the GPS option, the watch will be automatically set base on
the data and time data from GPS satellites.
The procedure in setting time 2 is the same with time 1 setting.
12H/24H format setting:
You can select 12H or 24H format. Press S5 to enter setting mode. Press S1 or S11 to select
12H or 24H format. Press S5 to confirm.
Following are the various views that user can choose by pressing S5.

Note:
• While in Run mode, then the GPS signal suddenly becomes weak or lost for any
reason, the watch will display LOST GPS SIGNAL until it receives GPS signal
again.

When the timer is stopped or reset in RUN mode, the GPS will automatically turn
OFF after 15 minutes to save battery power.

If the GPS is already ON when you enter the ALTI mode, the watch will prompt “GPS GO,
PACE and the CHRONO time blinks.

Following are the various views that user can choose by pressing S5.

Data numbering system/ Legend:
Following is the data numbering system.
RUN DATA mode
Press S7 from CHRONO mode to enter RUN DATA mode. The watch will display the Data list
view. In this view you can see how many files are saved in RUN data. The watch will show the
list of data files with newest on the top of the list.

• In zone / Ave HR / Max HR (this view is hidden if HRM is OFF)

Deleting Data:
Press S7 from CHRONO mode to Run DATA mode. After the Data file appears, press
S1 or S11 to select data files. Press S5 to enter selected file and it will appear “Start time/End
time/ Distance” view. Press S1 or S11 to change views. Also note that in any sub-views, press
and hold S5 to enter the “VIEW / DEL / DEL ALL” screen. Press S1 to select. If “View” is
selected, you can view the details of the data. If “Del” is selected, 1 data will be deleted. If “Del
All” is selected, all data files will be deleted. Press S7 to exit.

TIMER mode
Setting the TIMER:
Press S5 to select the interval timer “SEG 1 to 6”. Press and hold S11 until the Timer digit
starts to blink. Press S5 to set the hour, minute & second. Press S1/S11 to increase or
decrease the value. Press S7 to set/exit setting. Press S1 to start or stop. Press S1 again to
restart. Press and hold S1 or press S11 to save/reset.
Note: User can only review the Timer Data in the PC after the watch data is downloaded to the
PC.

ALARM mode
Setting the ALARM:
Press S7 from TIMER mode to enter ALARM mode. The watch will display the alarm view.
Press and hold S11 until the Alarm digit starts to blink. Press S1/S11 to select the Alarm 1 to 5.
Press S3 to set the Hour, Minute, Time (T1/T2) and Alarm (On/Off).
Alarm setting in SET mode:
• Select ALARM by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 alarm digit is flashing.
•
Select ALARM 1 to ALARM 5 by pressing S1 or S11 and then press S5 to enter.
• Set the HOUR. Press S1 or S11 to change values. Press S5 to enter
• Set the MINUTE. Press S1 or S11 to change values. Press S5 to enter
• Set the alarm time referred to T1 or T2. Press S1 or S11 to change. Press S5 to enter
• Set the alarm ON or OFF. Press S1 or S11 to change. Press S5 to enter
• Set the Chime ON or OFF. Press S1 or S11 to change. Press S5 to enter
• Press S7 to exit alarm setting
SET mode
Press S7 from ALARM mode to SET mode. 1.5 seconds later the watch will display the setting
options. The ff. sequence are as follows; AUTO LAP, TIME, UNIT, USER, HRM, HRM LINK,
NIGHT, CONTRAST, CHIME, ALARM and TIMER. Press S5 to enter selected option to set.
Press S1/S11 to select then press S5 to enter. Press S7 to exit setting to Time mode.
MANUAL setting:
¾ Set the HOUR by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the MIN by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the SEC by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the YEAR by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the MONTH by pressing S5 & press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the DATE by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the 12/24H by pressing S5 and press S1/S11 to change digit then press S5 to enter.
¾ Set the M-D/ D-M format by pressing S1/S11 to change the press S5 to enter.
¾ The watch will go back to Time.
TIME 2 setting:
You have two options in setting the watch, AUTO or MANUAL. In manual setting, you can
manually set the time. If you select the AUTO option, the watch will be automatically set base
on the data and time data from GPS satellites.
The procedure in setting time 2 is the same with time 1 setting.
Setting the UNIT:
Press S5 to enter. Press S1 or S11 to select KM or Mi. Press S5 to confirm.
Setting the User’s information:
Setting the Auto Lap:
Press S5 when the USER option is highlighted. The sequence of setting is as follows: Gender
Æ Age Æ Weight Æ Height Press S1 or S11 to change values. Press S5 to set next parameter.
Press S7 to exit.
Press S5 to set AUTO LAP. Then press S1 or S11 to select Auto lap setting options (0.4, 1,
2, 3, 4, 5 and OFF). Press S5 to enter the selected setting. Press S7 to exit setting.
Setting the HRM:
Note: Alert sub-mode, press S5 to enter ALERT function. When alert is set to ON, there will be
a beep sound during taking auto lap. When it is set to OFF, there is no beep sound.
Press S5 to enter. Press S1/S11 to select HRM zones. Then press S5 again to set Low and
High limit of the zone. Press S1/S11 to manually change the value. Press S5 to confirm setting.
Press S7 to exit setting.
SETTING THE TIME:
Note: User has also an option to ON or OFF the zone Alarm.

You have two options in setting the watch, GPS or MANUAL. In manual setting, you can
manually set the time. If you select the GPS option, the watch will be automatically set based
on the data and time data from GPS satellites.
• Select TIME by pressing S1/S11 and then press S5 to enter.
• Select GPS or MANUAL setting by pressing S1/S11 and then press S5 to enter.
GPS setting:
¾ Select TIME ZONE by pressing S1/S11 and press S5 to enter.
¾ Select DST ON or OFF by pressing S1/S11 and press S5 to enter.
¾ Select 12H/ 24H format setting by pressing S1/S11. Press S5 to enter.
¾ Select M-D/ D-M format by pressing S1/S11 and press S5 to enter.
¾ The watch will go back to Time.
HRM LINK:
Press S5 to enter HRM LINK mode. It will then start to search (within 1 min) for HR belt and If
a new HR belt is found, it will display the HR belt ID number. If HRM link fails, after 1 minute of
searching, the watch will display “HRM LINK FAIL”.
Setting the DISPLAY (LCD contrast):
Press S5 to enter. Press S1 or S11 to change the setting. Press S5 to confirm setting.
Setting the Chime:
Press S5 to enter. Press S1 or S11 to select ON or OFF. Press S5 to confirm setting.

When Chime is ON, there is an hourly Chime and the Key tone will automatically ON. There is
also a confirmation sound every time you press a button. The Chime icon also appears in all
modes. If Chime is OFF the Key tone will automatically OFF.

I cannot get a GPS signal
The same procedure applies in setting the Time.
Setting TIMER:
Can I reset the watch?
Press S5 to enter. Press S1 or S11 to select the Timer “SG 1 to 6”. Press S5 to set next
parameter. Press S7 to exit.
Setting the NIGHT mode:
Press S5 to enter. Press S1 or S11 to select the following options: Night ON, 10 sec & 20 sec.
10 SECONDS – Press S11 will turn ON the Light for 10 seconds.
20 SECONDS – Press S11 will turn ON the Light for 20 seconds.
NIGHT ON – Light will continuously ON when CHRONO is running in preset duration time (6:00
pm to 7:00 am).
Press S5 to accept the selected setting. Press S7 to exit.
Battery:
Watch is using a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that will require approximately 4.0 hours
charging time using the USB cable. While battery is charging, the watch cannot be used and all
buttons are disabled. User needs to recharge the battery when the watch indicates a “low
battery”.
Note:
Battery Life (fully charge battery); 8 hrs typical with GPS ON, CHRONO ON and HRM ON in day
time within the time period from 7 am to 6 pm.
And about 7 hours in night time with GPS ON, CHRONO ON, HRM ON and Light ON within
the time period from 6 pm to 7 am.
Will my data and personal
settings be lost after watch
reset?
The battery indicator does
not seem to be accurate
My heart rate data seems
inaccurate.
SOLUTION/ ANSWER
Take your GPS watch outdoors and away from tress and
tall buildings. Remain stationary and try acquiring GPS
signal again. Be sure that the antenna is pointing towards
the sky for better signal reception.
You can reset the watch by pressing S1, S5, S7, and S11
together. The date and time will be reset to default
values. You can set it again manually or automatically thru
GPS.
Your data and personal settings are saved in the flash
memory and will not be lost after watch reset.
Allow your GPS watch to fully discharge and then fully
charge it without interruption. It is recommended to
regularly re-charge your battery every 1-2 months even if
it is not used to maintain good battery condition.
- Make sure the HR belt is snugly fit to your body
- Reapply water or electrode gel to the electrode of the
HR belt
- Clean the electrodes from possible contamination that
may interfere with heart rate signals
- Wear a cotton shirt or if possible, wet your cotton shirt.
Synthetic fabrics that rubs with your skin may create
static electricity and interfere with the heart rate signal
- Move away from strong electromagnetic fields and other
wireless sensors which can interfere with your heart rate
sensor. Possible sources of wireless interference may
include high voltage power lines, electric motors,
microwave ovens, cordless phones, and wireless LAN
or access points.

Click on the Download Data tab. Data will be automatically downloaded to your PC.
If there no proper contact between the USB clip and the watch, an error may occur
and the software will prompt you to check the cable. Repeat the downloading after
checking the cable.

After downloading the data, the software will prompt you to delete all data in the
GPS watch. Default option is NO. WARNING! If you select yes, all data in the watch
will be deleted.

Click on any of the tabs to open up the desired window. A new window will open
with the various tabs. Click any of the tabs to view your activity.

Install the GPS NE PRO PC software to your computer. The installer is bundled in
the box with your GPS watch.
Follow the installation guide of the software. This is just a simple installation
procedure. You will be prompt on what drive you want to install the software. Default
location is Program files\GPS NE PRO. You may change the location if you wish.
Click FINISH to complete the installation.
You may need to re-start your PC after installation.
GPS NE PRO icon will be placed in your desktop after installation.

Run the software by double clicking the icon on your desktop. The welcome screen
will appear on your desktop.
Clip the USB cable to your watch. This is the same cable used to charge the battery
of the GPS watch. Make sure the four pins of the clip have a good connection to the
four electrical contacts at the back of the watch.
Connect the USB cable to the USB port of your PC. The first time you do this, the
PC will automatically install the drivers for the device.
The Software will prompt you to download the data.
