Arlo Security Light System Quick Start Guide DRAFT What’s Included Welcome Arlo Bridge Wire-Free Smart Security Light Thank you for choosing Arlo. Getting started is easy. Rechargeable battery DRAFT USB cable Outdoor security mount AC power adapter (varies by region) Window decal Get the App Set Up Your Security Light System Download the Arlo app for your smartphone or tablet by scanning this QR code or searching for Arlo in the app store. 1. Launch the Arlo app from your smartphone or tablet. 2. Create an account or log in. If you did not set up an Arlo account yet, tap New to Arlo? and create an account. If you already use an Arlo account, log in to the app. arlo.netgear.com 3. Tap Add Device. 4. Tap Arlo Security Lights. 5. Follow the onscreen instructions to add the bridge and each security light. Note: If you already use the Arlo app, make sure that you are using the latest version. To find out if an update is available, go to the App store and search for Arlo. DRAFT Mount Your Security Light 5. 1. Use the provided screws to attach the mount to a wall. 2. Tighten the metal collar on the mount to secure the post. 3. Screw the security light onto the threaded post. 4. Tighten the plastic collar to secure the light. Tilt and swivel the light to the position you prefer. DRAFT You’re Done! Charge the Battery Congratulations! Your Arlo Security Light System is set up and ready to go. You can use the USB cable and the AC power adapter to charge the battery in your security light. To view useful tutorial videos, find troubleshooting tips, or get support, visit support.arlo.com. 1. If you are using the security light outdoors, move it indoors while you are charging the battery. The security light and the wall socket must be indoors. 2. Connect the USB cable to the security light and to the AC power adapter. 3. Plug the AC power adapter into a wall socket. The battery charges automatically. DRAFT Power On the Bridge Insert a Battery Into a Security Light Before you plug in the bridge for the first time, we recommend that you follow the instructions in the Arlo app to add your security light system. To power on the bridge, plug the bridge into a wall socket. 1. Unlock the battery compartment cover by pressing and releasing the back of the security light.
