Way Fast Ethernet FCI adapter, This document describes
the network adapter installation. This adapter supports
1OBASE~T11 OOBASE-YX Fast Ethemat and Wake-On-LAN
teatures and complies with the electrical and protocol

2.0 and 2.1.
1.1 Features
The 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI adapter is a cast eitect‘rve,

2. Installation
This sentien describes how to instill the adapter. Fur
connecting to the network you must have the following:
1 Network adapter card installed to youroomputer.
2v Cabling (compatible wrth network topology)
3. Connect the Wake-On-LAN cable to the mother board

2.2 Install the Adapter
1 Turn Ml the computer.
2 Remove the computers cover, in accordanoe to its
manual,
1 Intert the contact edge of the adapter card into the
connector at any available PCI Bus master expanlicn
slut Press the card firmly into the connector to PCI slot.
Please make sure mm the card's contacts are fully
seated in the PCI slot
4 Install the bracket screw that secures me card to the
Computer chassis.
5 Connect the WOL cable to the mother board. ‘tflhe WOL
teature required.
5 Replace the computers cover.
7 Connect the CATS ur CATS UTP cable to the RJ45
network ounnector
8. Remove [Drivers and Ulllttles] diskette from ltle PC
diskette drive
9. Turn on the computer

configure any newly installed adapter automatically,
Note:
Due to some PIug-n—Play BIOS progrems' problem, It
happens occasrunally that a newly installed adapter is
assigned an Imerrupt Numberwhlch is already used
by inuther device adapter In such a case, the confllct
of Interrupt Number will cause faults in the behavioraf
both devices. Then it re necessary to run the CMOS
Setup util , and manually assign a nun—connrct
Intermpt Number.

2.3 Connect Fast Ethernet
