To protect components from damage, they may be packed in (he Styrofoam tray out of
plain sight, Please search styroloam tray and remove all ol the components shown
below. Styrofoam should be saved for storing your watercraft.

IMPORTANT!
New Bright 19.2V Battery Packs are NOTcharged prior to shipping and
must be charged 16 hours beiore the first and second use. Subsequent
charges require 9 hours

1. Plug the Charger into a standard indoor electrical outlet.
2. Insert the 192V rechargeable Battery Pack securely into the Charging Cradle (as shown).
Allow Battery Fax to charge tor a minimum oi 16 hours for the iirst and second charges.
Subsequent charges require 9 hours
3. This power unit is intended to be correctly orientated in a vertical or floor mount position.
NOTE: Battery Packs will become warm after charging or during use Make certain to allow
the Battery Pack to cool before recharging. Charging a warm Battery Pack will greatly
reduce its life.
Battery pack can be charged up to 1,000 times!
ATTENTION PARENTS:
The Charger, Charging Cradle & Battery Pack need to be periodically examined for potential

The rudders and propeller on the watercraft may eventually wear.
One extra propeller and two rudders have been Included. Follow these instructions to
replace them when needed.
A 5/16" wrench or ratchet is required’to remove propeller.

from functioning while the boat’s hull is out of the water.

CAUTION: Always keep hands away from propeller
while battery pack is installed in battery compartment. Always
remove the battery pack from the battery compartment
before clearing debris from, cleaning or replacing propeller.
Always move Power Switch to the “OFF" position after use.
For propeller to operate the two water sensors must be
submerged in water.
To avoid injury lift the boat from the water by holding the sides
of the boat. Do not hold the boat from the back near the propeller.

E Operating and Caring _
Radio waves control and drive the watercraft. Any of the following conditions may interfere with the
behavior and tunction.
The Transmitter signals can easily be interrupted. Caring tor your Transmitter and watercraft is
illustrated on these pages,
Do not operate in salt water.
Do not operate watercraft where there are water plants, rubbish or other obstacles in the pond.
This could damage or impair propeller.
Do not play where here is strong water current or when there is strong wind blowing on the pond,

Do not touch propeller while it is spinning. This is extremely dangerous
When lifting watercraft, be sure to hold the body securer
Be sure to bring the watercraft back to shore (out of water) before the battery power runs out.

KEEP BATTERY COMPARTMENT DRY
It is possible that water can enter the inside of your watercraft during play. Periodically
remove the top of the watercraft during use to remove any trapped water from the
Battery Compartment. This should also be done at the end of each play session. Allow to
dry completely before reassembling watercraft.
BATTERV REMOVAL
After play, always turn watercraft off. Remove 2 ‘AA" batteries from Transmitter and
— rechargeable Battery Pack from watercraft when not in use or when storing. Leakage
may occur and cause damage if left for a long period of time.
WATER BUILD-UP
Drain watercraft periodically and before storing. To drain watercraft, bring boat to a dry
place, remove rechargeable Battery Pack from watercraft and “AA" batteries from
Transmitter. Remove Antenna Plug, and turn watercraft upside down until all water is
drained from the hull. Replace top of watercraft. Turn tabs to lock into place. Dry
watercraft well before putting it away.
TRANSMITTER FREQUENCIES
Each watercraft and Transmitter is marked with either 27MHz or 49MHz. A Transmitter of
one frequency cannot control a watercraft of another frequency Avoid operating this
watercraft within 100 feet of another watercraft of the same frequency If two watercrafts
of the same frequency are operated in the same area, loss of control will occur.
FCC CAUTION:
The manufacturer is not responsible for radio interference caused by unauthorized
frequency modification to this equipment. Such modifications could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.

Trouble Shooting & Support
Problem - Watercraft does not move or moves slowly.
- Make certain there are fresh alkaline batteries in the transmitter and that they have been
installed in the correct position.
- Are the (+) and (— ) markings on the alkaline batteries in the same position as the (+) and
(— ) markings in the Transmitter Battery Compartment?
- Has the Battery Pack been installed in the watercraft?
- Has the rechargeable Battery Pack been fully charged?
- Are the (+) and (—) markings on the Battery Pack in the same position as the (+) and (—)
markings in the Battery Compartment?
- Are the metal contact tabs touching, rusty or dirty in the transmitter?
- Make certain that the watercratt’s ONIOFF switch is in the “ON" position.
- Make certain that the transmitter antenna is securely attached to the transmitter.
Problem -Watercrafl moves by itself or exhibits reduced range from the transmitter.
- Make certain there is no outside radio interference in your area. The best way to test this
is to lake the watercraft as tar away from radio towers, electrical lines or tall buildings as
possible to ensure no further radio interference will occur.
Problem - Propeller does not move.
- This watercraft is equipped with a safety sensor, located on hull bottom, that prevents
the propeller from moving when not in water.

Do not recharge Battery Pack if it is hot or warm to the touch. Allow Battery Pack to
cool before recharging. Recharging a hot or warm Battery Pack will shorten the life of
the Pack. 4
Do not recharge a Battery Pack if it appears to be damaged or leaking.
Always unplug Charger when not in use.
Always remove Battery Pack from Battery Compartment when not in use.
Do not dispose batteries in tire. Leakage, explosion and personal injury may occur.
Dispose of Rechargeable Battery Pack property. ‘
Do not attempt to disassemble Battery Pack, Charging Cradle or Charger.
Do not use Battery Charger lor any use other than instructed in this booklet.
Only an adult should charge Batteries.
Do not attempt jumps or tricks with this watercraft.

interterence in a residential installation.This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions. may cause harrrrful interlerence to radio
communications. However. there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation, If this
equipment does cause harmtul interference to radio or television reception. which can be determined by turning
the equipment oil and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
Fleorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
