Bluespoon™ AX is a wireless headset using Bluetooth® technology.
Bluetooth® devices are connected to each other by what is known as “PAIRING”. Each Bluetooth device has a Pairingcode/PASSKEY.
The PASSKEY for Bluespoon™ AX is 0000. This PASSKEY must be used each time the Bluespoon™ AX is paired with a new device.
Once devices are paired, they will recognize each other whenever they are reconnected.
The effective wireless range between Bluespoon™ AX and another paired device is 10 metres (33ft).
Bluetooth® devices use “profiles” to communicate. The two Audio profiles for speech are Bluetooth® HEA DSET and Bluetooth®
HANDS-FREE profile. Mobile devices support either one or both of them. Bluespoon™ AX has both these profiles, and can be used
with a wide range of devices. e.g. mobile phones, pda’s and computers.
The Bluespoon™ Collection consists also of a Bluespoon™ USB dongle for computers and a home/office telephone adapter.
Bluespoon™ AX can be used with the USB dongle for Voice over IP (speaking over the internet), and also with the Bluespoon™ HOME
telephone adapter, which gives your home or office phone wireless capability.
The Bluetooth® profiles HEADSET and HANDS-FREE mainly have the same features. Bluetooth® HANDS-FREE is the new profile,
and adds some extra features to your headset. These extra features are also explained in this user’s Guide.

FAQ: Problem: Solution:
Bluespoon™ AX disconnect after 90 seconds, when it is
connected with phone that is using the Hands -Free
profile
The Bluespoon™ AX or the mobile phone disconnects,
and Bluespoon™ AX turns off.
When the Bluespoon™ AX is connected with a Siemens
S55 and you want to make a phone call, it doesn’t
transfer the sound to the headset.
If the SE T610 is supporting the Hands-Free function, it is
not possible to transfer the call to the headset, when
there is an ongoing call in the phone.
You do not get a ring tone in the Bluespoon™ AX or in
the phone.
You need to pair device number 9, but which of the
already paired device will then be deleted ?
This is a normal behaviour of the headset. The reason
why this happens is that the mobile phone does not
support a low power mode. Next time you receive a call,
press the TALK button and the headset will reconnect
and answer the call.
The Bluespoon™ AX turns off if something went wrong
with the connection. This is done in order to save the
battery power.
Turn on the Bluespoon™ AX by pressing the TALK
button for 3 seconds.
When you have dialled the number, press the TALK
button, and the call will be transferred to the Bluespoon™
AX.
In the phone menu choose:
Connectivity->Bluetooth->Handsfree->Car handsfree->
Power Save.
The phone is probably in silent mode and therefore you
don’t get at ring tone.
You have paired 8 devices in this order:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H
You then use used devices in the following order :
C, D, A, F, B, H, G, E,
When you pair the 9th device, the “E” device will be
deleted.

Hearing Aids

Some digital wireless phones may interfere with some hearing aids. In the event of such interference, you may want to consult with your
hearing aid manufacturer to discuss alternatives. Simultaneous use of a CIC-hearing aid and the Bluespoon™ headset is not possible
due to lack of space in the ear.
Other medical devices
If you use any other personal medical device, consult the manufacturer of your device to determine if it is adequately shielded from RF
energy. Your physician may be able to assist you in obtaining this information.
