Joystick – 4 directional and press 3. Blue and Red light indicators 4. Microphone 5. Foldable joints – 1 on each side and 1 rear 6. Ear cups with soft covers FIG.1 Thank you for choosing our product The Bluespoon™ SPIDER stereo headset is a portable, two-in-one wireless Bluetooth® Class 1 device that functions both as a headset for reliable communication with your Bluetooth® enabled cell phone, as well as providing music listening in uncompromising quality. The range of the Bluespoon™ SPIDER is up to 300 ft. (100 meters) in clear line of sight.* One touch of the headset's joystick (FIG 1.2) is all that is required to pause music being streamed to the Bluespoon™ SPIDER or to answer an incoming call. Once the call is finished, one touch of the joystick hangs up the call and resumes the stereo music stream from the point where it was interrupted. These and other functions will be covered in the following guide. Package content: Bluespoon™ SPIDER Bluetooth® stereo headset USB Charging cable AC Charger User’s guide Profiles: The Bluespoon™ SPIDER has the following four Bluetooth® profiles: Hands-Free, Headset, A2DP and AVRCP. Hands-Free and Headset profiles allow for communication (voice calling) with a wide range of cell phones including many mobile devices, PDA’s, and Bluetooth® enabled computers (PC/MAC) for voice over IP (VOIP). Both profiles provide similar functions. Hands-Free is the revised profile of the two, and it adds extra features when using the Bluespoon™ SPIDER. These will be covered later in the section “Use with cell phone”. The profile A2DP is necessary for streaming stereo music. AVRCP provides remote functions such as Play, Stop, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind and Volume Control, when using e.g. media players on a computer. For Bluetooth® devices to work together with your Bluespoon™ SPIDER it is important that each device that communicates with the Bluespoon™ SPIDER share the same profile as the Bluespoon™ SPIDER. When purchasing devices to use with your Bluespoon™ SPIDER you need to keep this concept in mind, to ensure they will work together with your Bluespoon™ SPIDER as expected. You can check which profiles a specific device has, with the retailer or at the manufacturers’ website. Please note: · In case your computer does not have the same Bluetooth® profiles as mentioned here, you will need a USB Dongle which support the four mentioned profiles, in order to connect and obtain full functionality between the Bluespoon™ SPIDER and the computer. · If you want to benefit from the range of 300 ft. in clear line of sight, the devices you use with your Bluespoon™ SPIDER needs to have Bluetooth® Class 1 technology. If used with a computer we recommend that you use a USB Dongle with an additional (standard) extension USB cable, in order to get the optimal range. * Clear line of sight means that there are free view/no obstacles between the two used devices.
Using your Bluespoon™ SPIDER Charging: Before you can use the Bluespoon™ SPIDER, you need to charge it. A. USB (computer) charging cable B.
