Attach iTruck to the controllerfor quick recharging and lasting power.*A large volume, high-power nickel metal hydride battery is built into the chassis.*The controller has only 1 control stick.  Forward-backward running, left-right turns, andstopping are all possible with single-hand operations.Battery requirements:Size "AA" "UM3" "R6" alkaline batteries x 2 (No other type of battery should be used)Battery Characteristics and Recharging TipsWhen playing for the first time after purchase, or after a long interval, the battery powermay be weak.  Even after recharging, the running time can be relatively short.  Thebattery will gradually regain power after 2 or 3 repetitions of usage and recharging.Also, if you keep the power switch turned ON for a long time, the battery power will bedischarged. Install 2 alkalinebatteriesBattery installation:*Install the batteries in the controller.(This product operates only with size "AA" "UM3" "R6"alkaline batteries.  If you use man-ganese or other types of batteries, the nickel metal hydride battery built into the vehiclemay not be recharged fully.  Be sure to use ONLY alkaline dry cell batteries.)Make sure that the power switch of the controller is turned OFF.Use a ballpoint pen, pencil or sharp tools to push the release button of the batterylid.  While pressing the button, slide the lid a little bit as shown in the diagram.*Slide out the lid with your hand and detach.*Be careful so that the pencil lead will not be broken.Install 2 size "AA" "UM3" "R6" alkaline batteries, making sure that the (+) and (-)ends are positioned properly.Attach the battery lid again.  Slide the lid back into position until the release buttonclicks.  (Lift up the rear end of the battery lid slightly to fit the lid into the groove asshown in the diagram.  Then, keep the lid flat and slide into the groove.)There is a safety hook on the controller to prevent ve-hicle from falling off while recharging.  When vehicle isfully recharged, the green LED lamp will turn off.  Whenthis has been confirmed, keep pressing the recharg-ing release button on the side of the controller, andpull vehicle toward you to detach it from the controller.removalbutton iTruck powerswitch is turnedOFFControllerpower switchis turned ONOpen the chargercoverFit the claw of the con-troller into the hollowpit of  the chassis.Slide iTruck forward untilyou hear a click.The set-up is completed!Check to see that iTruck doesnot fall off.The green LEDlamp lights up.The ordinary recharging time is about2 minutes. Cause1  The power switch on vehicle is inthe OFF position.2  The vehicle is too far away fromthe controller.3  The (+) and (-) poles of the batter-ies of the controller are positionedin the wrong direction.4  The metal tab touching the con-troller battery is rusted.5  The metal recharging terminalsof the controller or boat may berusted.6  Either the controller batteries orvehicle battery lack power.7  There is another radio control ve-hicle using the same band beingoperated nearby.8  The antenna of the controller orvehicle is bent.Check and see1  Turn ON the power switch on ve-hicle .2  Shorten the distance between thecontroller and vehicle .3  Install the batteries in the right di-rection.4  Use sandpaper to remove the rust.5  Use sandpaper to remove the rust.6  Either change the controller batter-ies with new ones or recharge ve-hicle as necessary.7  Play at a different time or in a dif-ferent place.8  Straighten the antenna.The vehicledoesn’tmove or itmalfunc-tions.How to OperateTurn the power switch ON. Controller operations and iTruck movements.First, turn ON the controller power switch, and then turn ON the iTruck powerswitch.Tilt the controller stick in the direction you wish to move iTruck, and it will startmoving.If either the antenna on iTruck or the controller is bent, the radio waves will notreach a long distance.  Straighten them before playing.  When you finish playing,be sure to remove the batteries from the controller.Steering AlignmentSteering alignment leverIf iTruck does not move straight forward or straightbackward, try adjusting the steering alignment le-ver on the bottom side of iTruck.  If the vehicletends to go to the right, move the alignment levertoward L.  If the vehicle tends to go to the left,move the lever toward R.Features of the Controller This controller enables single-handoperation for all movements.Therefore, you can do somethingelse  while operating iTruck.iTruck is operated by use of radio waves.  If you operate iTruck where it can be affectedby other radio waves, the vehicle may not respond correctly to your operations, or startto move even though you are not operating it.  In such cases, the vehicle is not broken.Operate your vehicle in a different place or at a different time.*The kit contains very small parts .  They can be dangerous if swallowed by mistake, sokeep them away from reach of children under 3 years old.*Use ONLY size-"AA" "UM3" "R6" alkaline batteries for the vehicle.  DO NOT use Ni-Cdor other rechargeable batteries or manganese batteries.*Be careful not to let your fingers, hair or clothes get caught in the tire.  (DO NOT turnthe power switch ON while the vehicle is still in your hands.)<If the alkaline batteries are used improperly, they may become heated, explode, ignite,leak, etc.  Observe the following points and the warnings in the manual of instruc-tions.>CAUTION!-5-* Operation Techniques *For smooth cornering, move the stickslightly forward or reverse and then slide itto the left or right.This  will  enablesmooth left/rightturns.  If you mas-ter this basic tech-nique, you will beable to make a let-ter ”8” slalom, etc.This cornering technique will enable theuser to operate iTruck on the table or inother small places.The position of the stick andthe direction of the vehicle.Extended Operating Time (follow-up recharging)Recharge the battery once.  Without using thebattery, recharge a second time.  This ”follow-uprecharging” will lengthen the playing time.Moreover, if you recharge the battery 3 times in arow before use, the playing time will be extendedeven more.However, be careful NOT to recharge the batterymore than 3 times in a row.Also, note that the battery duration differs depend-ing on how you play.If you keep the product on some furniture, floor, etc., compounding agents from the tirescan cause color change and other damage to the surface on which the product is placed.To prevent this, observe the following:* When storing the product, don’t place it directly on furniture or the floor.  Protect thesurface of the furniture, floor, etc. by placing a thick mat under the product.Please note the following points when storing the product:Maintenance and CareIf the becomes dirty, use a slightly dampened cloth to wipe off the dirt and filth.  Then usea dry cloth to wipe of the moisture.  You can also use a small brush to remove filth fromintricate parts.To remove dust particles, tie a small bit of cloth to the tip of a toothpick, tweezers, etc. andwipe off.CAUTION!: BE SURE TO READ THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS:*DO NOT use chemicals.  The body of the vehicle can melt and cause machine troubles.*If you keep the vehicle in a place where the temperature is extremely hot or cold, orwhere it is extremely humid (such as in a car or under direct sunlight), the vehicle canbe damaged and lead to machine troubles.*Be sure to remove the batteries from the controller when storing the product away.Keep this Manual of Instructions carefully for future use.*Make sure that the + and - poles of the batteries are positioned properly.*Avoid mixed use of old and new batteries, or mixed use of different types of batteries.*When you finish playing, be sure to turn the power switch OFF and remove all the batteries.*DO NOT let the batteries get wet and cause short-circuits.  DO NOT take the batteriesapart, heat them, or throw them into a fire.*The Manual of Instructions will be necessary if you forget the operation methods or thecaution points, so DO NOT throw it away.
