any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Warning: this device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device pursuant to Part 15 of the Federal Communications Commission's Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radiofrequency energy and, if not used and
installed in accordance with the instruction, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can
be determined by turning this equipment on and off, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
(1) Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna;
(2) Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver;
(3) Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the other
receiver is connected;
(4) Consult the dealer or an expert radio/TV technician for help.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
This Device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment.
Important Note: To comply with FCC RF exposure requirement, the antenna used for this
transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitters.
Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
SAR
Your phone, a radio transceiver designed and manufactured not to exceed exposure limits
to radio waves or radiofrequency (RF) energy set by the FCC of USA. Given in terms of a unit
referred to as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which is a measure of the amount of radio
frequency energy absorbed by the body when using a mobile phone, these limits are part of
comprehensive guidelines adopted and consistent with recommendations by independent scientific
organizations through periodic and thorough scientific evaluations. The standards include a
substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons regardless of age and health.
The FCC limit for public exposure from cellular telephones is an SAR level of 1.6 watts
per kilogram (1.6 W/kg) ave. over 1 gram of tissue.
Tests are conducted with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power levels in all
tested frequency bands. Thus, the actual operating SAR level can be well below the maximum
value. This is because your phone is designed to use only minimum power required to reach the
network. As a general rule, the closer you are to wireless base station antenna the lower the power
output.
The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g.: at ear or worn on the body) as
required by the FCC for each model. The highest SAR for this model when tested for use at head
is 1.240 W/kg and 0.358W/kg at body.
To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum distance of 1.5 cm between the
body and the device must be maintained. Third party holsters and similar accessories must not
contain metallic parts. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not
comply with the RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Unauthorized antenna,
modifications, or attachments could impair call quality, damage the phone, or result in violation of
regulations. Do not use the phone with a damaged antenna, if a damaged antenna comes in contact
with the skin, may result to a minor burn. Contact your dealer for a replacement.
This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitters.
