Function Explained
Personalize tones to be played when ringing and alert behaviors.
Set and update system time and date.
Select default language of your phone.
Select input methods to be available when editing, the numeric input
and alphabetical input methods are automatically available by
default.
Turn on or off the feature to automatically lock your phone’s keypad
after about 15 seconds of inactivity, you can also manually lock the
keypad by press and holding the “#” key during standby. To unlock,
press

Customize display characteristics of your phone LCD.
Set call behaviors such as auto redial; divert; call forwarding; call
barring; hiding caller ID.
Customize how your phone will select network to use.
Activate/deactivate, or change your SIM and Phone security codes.
Please refer to ‘Security Codes’ section for more details.
Restore to the factory default settings, you have to input the correct
phone code (power on password).
Accessories
Use only batteries, chargers, and
accessories approved by the manufacturer
with this device. Use of any other types will
void the warranty and may be dangerous.
Check with your dealer for available
accessories. You may opt to buy:
Extra Battery: extra batteries of various
capacities are available from our company
or through your dealer.
Travel Charger: Light weight, practical
quick chargers used for charging on wall
outlets. Charging time is about 1.5 to 4
hours. The charging condition is being
displayed on screen. You may use your
phone while charging.
Earphone: a mini practical hands-free
device, user can use its button to answer
and end calls. Some models also have a
volume control turner. Note that DO NOT
plug or unplug the earphone when
connecting dialed or incoming calls.
Note also that not all accessories or their
models are available in all markets and

The Predictive English Input (Eng / eng /
Eng)
1. Press the corresponding key to each
letter of a word, i.e.: to input the word
'ABLE', press in sequence "2"; "2"; "5"; "3".
2. A most commonly used word
corresponding to the available letters from
the key press will appear on screen
highlighted.
3. Use any of the navigator keys to go to
next available word if the first word is not the
desired one.
4. When the desired word is displayed,
input a space or press
to confirm and
proceed to the next word input.
5. Symbols may be inputted by pressing
the "1" key when in edit mode (words are
inputted and confirmed, no word is
highlighted) , see Input Methods overview
for details.
6. The Smart Capitalization (Eng) will
automatically capitalize first letters of all
words inputted using this mode.
7. Pressing
in input mode will cancel
last key press; while it will delete the last
character inputted in the edit mode.
The Pin Yin Input Method(拼)
Using the Chinese Pinyin as principle,
press the corresponding keys to the pinyin
of a character. For example:
To input the character "您":
1. Press the "6", "4", and "6" keys as
corresponding to the character's pinyin
"nin", the display will show "min" and "nin"
and other extensions from the inputted
base;
2. Press
to choose and highlight
"nin";
3. Press up or down navigator to display
previous or next line of available characters
for the pinyin, and use the left or right
navigator to scroll to the desired character in
the character selection bar.
4. At the desired character, press
to
accept and input the character.
3. After a character input a list of
predictive character options will appear,
scroll to or long press the corresponding
numeric key to the number above the
character to input. Otherwise, continue to
input as above.

The Stoke Input Method(笔)
The Stroke input method is based on
Chinese
character's
stroke,
stroke
sequence, stroke rules, and common writing
habits as principle. The 5 basic strokes are
each assigned to a numeric key from "1" to
"5". The "6" key is assigned as the vague
key, when you are unsure of a stroke, use
this key.
To input a character, press the respective
strokes sequentially, one press for a stroke.
Observe the changes in the character
options line as you input, when the desired
character appears, select it in the similar
manner to the Pin Yin input method.

Time Zone' first by scrolling to a city and

Input Methods
Your phone supports common easy to
used input methods. Use
at any edit
interface (such as the edit message screen
and contact name input screen) to shift
between input methods except when the
type of input requires particular or specific
input method only.
Use
to switch between all capitalized,
all lower case, or smart capitalization (for
Predictive English only) inputs for
alphabetical inputs.
Symbols may be accessed using the "1"
key: Pressed when in Alphabetical input
method; Press & held when in Numeric and
Strokes input method; Pressed when in edit
mode in Pin Yin and Predictive English input
methods. To input a symbol, access
symbols table, use left or right navigator to
select and up or down navigator to scroll
between pages of available symbols, when
at a desired symbol, press
to use.
The

To input numerical values, press the

The Alphabetic Input Method (abc / ABC)
1. Press the corresponding key to the
letter desired.
2. An selection box will appear at the
bottom of the screen with the first letter
selected with the key press.
3. Highlighted character is accepted and
inputted if there is no key press on the same
key for about a second or by pressing other
keys for another character input.
4. To input other letters from the same
key, press repeatedly at about half second
intervals, as each press in made, the
selector will move at available characters in
the selection box, as you stop at a
character, it will be inputted.

Your phone supports two alarm clocks. Access and manage each here.
Set and alarm time. Operates similarly as setting time.

Function Explained
Set backlight behavior, scroll to a desired option and ‘Accept’.
Adjust according to what best suites your eyes the LCD brightness /
contrast to 1 of the 7 levels using left and right navigators, effect will
be shown as you move the level, ‘Accept’ to use and save.
Turn On/Off the auto redial and ‘Accept’ to activate/deactivate.
Check current status of a call feature.
Activate a call feature. For diverts, destination number must be set.
Cancel or deactivate a call feature.
Divert or forward all incoming calls.
Divert all incoming calls when your line is busy.
Divert all incoming calls when you did not answer or receive.
Divert all calls when you are outside network coverage area or your
phone is off.
Tip: Alter the settings only when you are sure of its details and functions.
Tip: If your altered settings affected your phone's performance, restore factory default or
deactivate what you have lastly activated.

Your phone may be customized
according to your usage preference and
habit. It has 20 pre-installed ringtones to
choose from; 8 levels of ringing and speaker
volumes to be adjusted via
keys;
12 vibrating levels adjustable also with use
of
and
keys; and different alert
modes.
To set time and date, use numeric keys to
input value or use
and
to adjust the
value; use the
and
to move cursor
position. The SMS Time Sync. is a feature to
synchronize time with your network's system
time using the SMS feature, select 'Yes' to
'Time sync via SMS?', input your phone
number, and press
to synchronize time.
When 'Auto Redial' is activated, your
phone will automatically redial the outgoing
unanswered number for up to 10 times
starting at about 5 seconds then 1 minute
intervals. During the redialing you cannot
make another call. To stop redialing, press
the
key to 'Cancel'.
To have your phone alert you of a
newincoming call without rejecting it while
you are on another call, you can activate the
'Call Waiting' feature. To forward an
incoming call to another number under
certain conditions, activate 'Call Divert', and
input the destination number when the call
will be diverted to. To restrict certain type of
calls to be made or received, activate the
'Call Barring', you will need the PIN2 code
that is to be provided by your network
operator. To hide your caller ID from the
called parties, turn 'Anonymous Mode' 'On'
by scrolling to it and 'Accept'. All these
features are network dependent, please
inquire with your service provider more
availability and details.
When manually selecting network, make
sure you choose the network where your
SIM is registered to.
The 'Power On Code' or phone code is
of 4 to 8 digits, the default code is "0000". To
change PIN and PIN2 code, they must be
activated first. To change security codes,
you will the asked to input the old code, then
input the desired new code, press
and
input again the new code to confirm.
