Messages
You may read, write. send and store att ktrtds
of text messages Att kinds of its functions
need network support Ptease contact the
network operators for details First you need
to store the number ot the message center in
the phone and then you can send text
messages tptease refer to "settings" in
“Messages").
Write message
tn standby mode, press y key to enter the
main menu, then operate "Messages" and
”Write Message" by turn to enter message
editing interface. Press key to change
between input modes and choose the common
expression that you want to insert Aiter editing
the messages that you want to send, press
it key for oonfirmation, and enter the number
input interface. you may enter the number
directty to send the message or press Q key
to spring the (Phonebook, Add to muttipte
send) to enter message transmission options

After entering this menu, the phonebook
option tist Witt appear, you may browse the
phonebook and choose the tetephone number
that you want to send message After the
choice is comptete, press menu to spring up
the key. you and choose att kinds of
operations to send current message.

phonebook witt appear, press Q key to
spring up the menu.

message, press Q key to spring the menu,

different transmission modes to send current
message. if the transmission teits, the

When you have received new text message,
the phone Witt give out message atert tone,
and ”New message Read?" Witt appear on the
disptay, and the message icon witt atso appear
at the top of the disptay

message icon Witt ttash at the top of the disptay,
and otter deteting some messages in the

tnbox, you may receive the message once
again
Then directty press M key to read the most
recent message, and the disptay Witt show the
tatest information, such as time, date of receipt
and number, etc. You may atso press fl key
to exit, and enter the tnbox to read the
message tater on tn standby mode, press y
key to enter the main menu, setect "Messages
and "tnbox" to enter the tnbox, or when in
standby mode, press the right navlga‘tcn key
to ouickty enter the tnbox

You may provide answer for current message

You may transmit current message to the
third-party

You may make a catt directty to the number
recorded in the message and the number
disptayed in the message record.
Extract number
You may save the number sending the
message or in the message

You may delete the message
And in the interface of message list, press the
lefi—rlgm navigation key you may do quick
page browsing ot the message list
Alter reading the message. press menu to
spring up
-Forward
You may transmit the message chosen to the
third party.

You may make a call directly to the number
recorded in the message and the number
dlsplayed in the message record.
-Extract number
You may save the number sending the
message or in the message
-Delete
You may otelete the message.

Saving messages that you have suocesstully
transmitted recently.
in the list of sent messages, press tip—down
navigalion key to do corresponding scroll,
press the lelt-nght navigallon key, you can the
page—opening of message list Press menu to
spring up

To do Iransmission for the message in diflerent
manners
-Edit
Enter the interface for editing the message,
and do transmission ofdifterent manners for
the message after editing.

To realize deletion operation for the message

Press M key to enter the intertace tor
reading the message, in the message content
interface, press menu to spring up the ley
of "edit, delete" (same operation as the above).
Press the Ieflsflghl navigation key you may
browse the 2 messages before and behind it
Unsent
To save the messages that you have failed to
send recently
Draft
To save the message that you currently want
to send
See "Sent" for specific operations of the
Unsent arid Draft.
Settings
-Vatidity period
llyou have set up validity of messages before,
then your past settings Will appear in the
option Ilsl, or else the ”Longest time" will
appear Press the up—down navigation key to
choose the setting that you need 1 day, 3

days, 7 days, 30 days, Maximum Press y
key to save the setting and give out alert
information return to the setting menu: press
fl key or key to return to the setting menu.
-Servlce center
If you have already set the information Center
number before, enter the setting and bring the
number to the edit mode, or else empty editing
mode wlII appear, and it can be empty after
the output of number Press y key to save
the lntormation Center number, and give out
the alert information. Return to the setting
menu and press @ key to return to the
setting menu
-Ternplate
To show all15 ott-used messages, in whlch
the first 10 cannot be edited, and the users
may edit the last 5 messages Press the up
down navigation key to scroll, press ley to
spring up the menu , and choose "edit" to edit
the message. Press u key to save the
message alter editing, and choose “delete" to
delete current message, and set the message
as "undefined".
Delete messages
in standby mode, press y key to enter the
main menu, choose "Messages" and ”Delete
messages" by turn to enter the rnterlace tor
Delete messages. it you want to delete all
messages, please choose "All“, and “Delele
all“ wrll appear on the mobile phone, pressy
key lor conlrrmatron.
llyou want to delete all messages in other
boxes, you may choose "lnbox",
Draft", and "delete all?” will
appear on the display, and press y key,
the message will be deleled
Cell broadcast
The Cell broadcast message is the text
message provided by network operators to the
users This message may be weatherlorecast,
trallrc news and taxi rnlormation, elc

When you receive a new verce marl, you will
receive message, alerting that you have voice
message, you may enteryourvorce mailbox
to read the voice message. lilhe voice
message number setlrng is not correct, wrong
numberwill be displayed, and the phone will

This phone can record the telephone number
oi received call, missed call and dialed call,

To show the list of telephone numbers thal you
have missed, press the up-down navrgalron
key lo browse the record of missed calls,
press Q key to spring up the menu:

number in the memory of the phone and SIM
card in the memory ot the phone at most too
telephone numbers can be stored and the
capaclty ol SiM card is based upon dilferent

—Use the lunction list to search the telephone
number
in standby mode, press y key to enter the
main menu select "phoneoopk" and "Search"
by turn, and the display will alert you to enter
the name that you want to Search then you
have the tcllovving 2 manners in searching the
number that you want:
1.You may enterthe tull name to search the
telephone number stored or enter one
character or letter to search the telephone
number
2. it you are not sure of the name that you
want to search press directly to enter the

After searching the name that you want in any
otthe above manner, press Q key to dial
the number and press key to spring menu

To edit and send message to current number.

To enter the intertace of editing materials at
the numoen press up-down navigation key to
scroll to the item that you want to edit, press
Q key to enter the intertace tor editing the
item Press y key alter editing to save the
rriodllicatlon that you have made.

To delete current telephone number.
-Copy
To copy current telephone number to the
mobile phone otthe SIM card.

To add new telephone numbers
-Search
To Search for new telephone number
-5elect group
To enter group selection.
Add
in standby mode, press y key to enter the
main menu. select "Phanebook". "Add" by turn
to enter the interlace tor adding telephone
number
Press the upadown navrgation key, you may
scroll on corresponding items of the number
Press key to enter the mtertace for
editing the item. Alter titling all items. press
y key to save the number, and the number
wlII be stored when "stored" appears on the
display
Delete
in standby mode, press M key to enter the
main menu. enter "Phonebook" and ”Delete"
by to enter the interiace tor deleting telephone
number This function proyides 3 manners
(SlM card, mobile phone and self-defined
deletion) otdeleting telephone numbers in the
phonebook
-SIM
Choose stlvl. "Delete all entries in SW" will
appear on the display. choose "yes". you will
delete all telephone numbers on the SIM card.
-Phone
Choose Mobile phone. "Delete all entries in
phone" will appear on the display. choose
"yes", you wrll delete all telephone numbers
on the mobile phone
-nelete selected
Choose Delete selected. the list ol all telephone
numbers will appear on the display, you may

Confirm: "delete?" wlII appear on the display.
choose "yes". you wrll delete the telephone
number that you have just chosen
Selete group: you may do self-defined
deletion to members of the group.
Select all: you will choose all ot the numbers
in current list.
Cancel all: you wllI cancel all selections that
you have lust made
Copy
ln standby mode, press y key to enter the
main menu, select "Phonebock" and "Copy”
to enterthe intertaoe for copying the telephone
number This function prcvldes 3 mariners
(trom SlM card to mobile phone. from mobile
phone to SlM card, selt-detined copying) for
copying telephone numbers
-SIM to phone
Select this opy all entries in SIM?" will
appear on the display, choose ”yes". you wlII
m 30 Phonebook
copy all telephone numbers otthe SIM card
to the mobile phone
-phone to SIM
Select this. ”Copy all entries in phone7" will
appear on the dlsplay. choose "yes", you will
copy all telephone numbers otthe mobile
phone to the SN card.
-Copy selected
Select this, the list of all telephone numbers
Will appear on the display. Choose the number
that you want to copy. press key to
spring menu
confirm: you will copy the number that have
chosen.
Select group: you will enter the group to
select the numbers that you want to copy.
Select all: you wlll choose current list ot all
telephone numbers
cancel all: you will cancel all selections that
you have just made.
