We, Nonin Medical, Inc, are requesting Limited Modular Approval (LMA) on the SABER and
hereby declare that the SABER will only be integrated into Nonin Medical, Inc products.
Therefore, Nonin Medical, Inc will retain full control of final installation ‘
No manual exists for this product since Nonin Medical, Inc is the integrator. However, the
following regulatory notices will be included in the end product manuals.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1 )Thls device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device
must accept any.interierence received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
This device contains FCC ID: RGQSABER I lC: 4743A-SABER.
CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Nonin Medical, Inc
could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This device is intended only for OEM integrators under the following conditions:
1) The transmitter module may not be co-Iocated with any other transmitter or
antenna.
2) The Module is approved using the FCC ‘unlicensed modular transmitter
approval’ method. Therefore the module must only be used with the originally
approved antennas.
"IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the
antenna used for this transmitter not be oo—located or operating in conjunction with any
other antenna or hansmitter."
The end user should NOT be provided any instructions on how to remove or install the device.
In addition, the wording “Contains FCC ID: RGQSABER / IC: 4743A-SABER” will be included on
the label of the device in which the SABER is installed.
