HANDSTRAPATTACHING THE HANDSTRAP:AC ADAPTERThe AC adapter is shipped with threeexchangeable adapter plugs for EU, UK,US and China .Suitable adapter plug has to be attachedonto the AC adapter before first use:1. Place the exchangeable adapterplug to the open end of itsattachment slot on the powerswitching unit.2. Slide the adapter plug along thegrooves of the slot.3. The following hints helpyou to preserve your device’s functionalityand longevity.CLEANINGThe device can be wiped clean with adamp, non-abrasive, clean, lint-freecloth.Do not use harsh chemicals, strongdetergents, or abrasive cleaners toclean the device.HANDLINGAvoid dropping the Nordic ID Morphic,or bumping it against other objects.Hard impacts can damage the device.Note that damages caused by carelesshandling are not covered by thewarranty.The touch sensitive colour display, i.e.the touch screen, is vulnerable tomechanical stress. Do not use sharpobjects or excess force on the touchscreen.Avoid storing the Nordic ID Morphic industy and dirty or extremely humid, coldor hot conditions. Harsh environmentalfactors can shorten the life of electroniccomponents, damage batteries andwarp or fracture plastics or othermechanical parts.When the Nordic ID Morphic is movedfrom a cold environment to a warmenvironment, condensation may lead toa short circuit inside the device. It isadvisable to allow the device toacclimatise for several hours, afterbeing brought in from the cold, beforepowering up.Try to keep your Nordic ID Morphic dry.Wipe spilled liquids immediately with adry, non-abrasive, clean, lint-free cloth.If moisture gets inside your Nordic IDMorphic because of condensation orspillage, open the battery cover andremove the battery. You may power upthe device again once it has dried. Donot open the device case. Opening thecase voids the warranty.Before using the device, the batteriesmust be fully charged. Charging takesapprox. 8 hours.The surface of the touch screen isvulnerable to damage. Do not use asharp object or press hard on thesurface with the stylusCRADLEThe Nordic ID Morphic docking cradleincludes electronics for charging battery,and for emitting and picking up USB andEthernet signals. Therefore the cradle isvulnerable especially to high and lowtemperatures, splashed liquids, and roughtreatment. The following hints helppreserving the docking cradle’s health andlongevity.Do not use the power supply for any otherpurposes than for charging therechargeable batteries on the Nordic IDMorphic device or on the battery chargerslot of the cradle.2.3.1.

Theprovisions of this paragraph of this EULA andany other material provisions of this EULAshall survive any termination of this EULA.GENERAL PROVISIONSYou agree that You will not export or importany portion of the Software to any country thatis not party to either: (i) The Berne Conventionof 1989, (ii) The Universal CopyrightConvention, (iii) The Buenos Aires Convention,or (iv) a treaty with the United States ofAmerica (U.S.A.) which allows for therecognition of the property rights claimed byNordic ID or its licensors and other softwaresuppliers in the Software. Further the Devicesare subject to United States and EuropeanUnion export laws and regulations. You agreeto comply with all domestic and internationalexport laws and regulations that apply to theDevices. These laws include restrictions ondestinations, end users and end use. U.S.Government Restricted Rights. If the Device orthe Software is acquired under the terms of aU.S. Government contract, use, duplication,and disclosure are subject to the terms of thislicense and the restrictions contained in theRights in Technical Data and ComputerSoftware clause at 252.227-7013 (DODcontracts); and subdivisions (a) through (d) of52.227-19 as applicable.This EULA shall be governed by and construedunder the laws of Finland. Any dispute arisingout of this EULA shall be finally settled inarbitration by a sole arbitrator in accordancewith the Arbitration Rules of the CentralChamber of Commerce, in Turku, Finland andin English language. However Nordic ID shallbe entitled to seek injunctive relief in acompetent court. Nordic ID may assign thisEULA without the consent of You. If anyportion hereof is found to be void orenforceable, the remaining portions of thisAgreement shall remain in full force and effect.Except as expressly provided herein, thisAgreement constitutes the entire agreementwith respect to the license of Software andsupersedes any conflicting or additional terms.© Nordic ID Oy, 4/2011
