The 2GIG-PIR1-345 Passive Infrared Motion Detector is a wall-mounted unit with wide angle
motion protection. The device has a 30 ft. x 50 ft. range and is pet immune up to 55 lbs.
Specifications
Installation/Mounting & Programming Guidelines
To setup the motion detector:
1.
Remove the screw from the bottom of the case and open the PIR (see Figure 2).
2.
Install the recommended battery, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
3.
Set the left jumper (PET IMMUNITY) to either 33 lbs. (15 kg; default) or 55 lbs (25 kg).
(see Figure 1)
4.
Set the right jumper (SENSITIVITY) to either HI (default) or LO (see Figure 1 ).
5.
Wait 10 seconds for the power up delay.
6.
Enter the programming mode for a wireless device on the control panel.
7.
Enroll the PIR by pressing and holding the tamper switch on the PIR for 2 seconds while control panel is in
learn mode.
To mount the motion detector, with or without the bracket, following the corresponding
guidelines:

With Bracket (see Figure 2)
Screw part A in to part B.
Select either the corner mount (part C) or flat wall mount (part D).
Mount the selected bracket (C or D) at a height of 7.5 ft (2.3 m) on the wall using
the supplied long screws with anchors.
Place the assembly of parts A and B on the shaft of bracket C or D.
Insert a screw from the top of part B to hold the assembly to the shaft of bracket C
or D.
Attach the main body of the PIR to the mounted back with the screw at the bottom
of the case.
Without Bracket (see Figure 3)
For corner mounting use the supplied long screws with anchors and mount the PIR
case back using either the upper 2 corner mount screw holes or the lower 2 corner
mount screw holes and mount the PIR back at a height of 7.5 ft (2.3 m). Attach
the main body of the PIR to the mounted back with the screw at the bottom of the
PIR.

For mounting the PIR on a flat wall use the supplied long screws with anchors and
mount the PIR case back using the 2 wall mount screw holes in the center of the
back and mount the back at a height of 7.5 ft (2.3 m). Attach the main body of
the PIR to the mounted back with the screw at the bottom of the PIR.

Before placing the sensor in Walk or RF Test mode, make sure the control panel is in Install
or User Walk Test mode.

Walk Test
Place the supplied magnet over the arrow on the left side of the PIR for 2 seconds and
then remove it.
Move in the area that is to be covered by the PIR and make sure that the LED on the
PIR flashes every time you move. This will continue for 1 minute to allow you to check
the coverage of the PIR beam. NOTE: There is a 3 second delay between flashes.
RF Test
Place the supplied magnet over the arrow on the left side of the PIR for 5 seconds and then
remove it. The PIR will continue to send RF transmissions for 1 minute, and will be indicated
by the control panel.

Remove back cover by unscrewing bottom screw and pull back cover from bottom to top. Use only the recommended replacement
batteries (see Specifications). Be sure to observe the polarity.
WARNING! The polarity of the battery must be observed, as shown (see Figure 1). Improper handling of lithium
batteries may result in heat generation, explosion or fire, which may lead to personal injuries. Replace only with the
