For simplicity and elegance, Lexington is worn
without an ear hook.
To wear the headset properly, simply attach the
earpiece that suits you the best, gently place the
headset in your right or left ear, and make sure that
the headset is pointed towards your mouth.
For optimal performance, carry your mobile device
on the same side of your body as or within line of
sight of your headset.

• Use the signature clip on the front of Lexington to
carry the headset with distinctive style. Fasten the
clip on the edge of your jacket pocket, your lapel or
wherever it is most convenient for you.
• Store Lexington in the performance dock while you
are in the oce, at home or traveling, and use it to
charge your headset on the go. A fully charged
performance dock can charge the headset up to
four times.
• Place the performance dock with Lexington in the
car mount while driving to keep everything within
arm’s reach.

charging Lexington
Before you can use Lexington, you must charge it in
the portable novero performance dock. A full charge
takes approx. 1.5 hours and will support the headset for
approx. 4 hours of talk time.
Before using the performance dock, you must make
sure that it is powered or has been charged in one of
the following three ways.
• Wall charger (AC): Select the appropriate local
adapter for the wall charger and insert it into
the wall outlet. Connect the wall charger and the
performance dock with the micro USB cable.
• Car charger (DC): Connect the car charger to the
DC outlet in your car. Connect the car charger and
the performance dock with the micro USB cable,
and place the performance dock in the car mount as
shown.
• PC via micro USB cable: Connect your PC and the
performance dock with the micro USB cable.

If Lexington is not already paired with another
Bluetooth device, it will automatically enter pairing
mode when you turn it on.
• To manually enter pairing mode, press and hold
(2 sec) the multi-function button and volume up (••)
until the headset flashes red and blue alternately.
• To pair the headset with your mobile device, activate
the Bluetooth feature of the device and search
for Lexington. See the user guide for your mobile
device for instructions.
• When your mobile device discovers the headset,
select it and confirm your choice with passcode or
PIN=0000. Your device will confirm when pairing is
complete.
• Pairing mode will time out after 5 min. If pairing has
not been completed by then, simply re-enter pairing
mode manually.

• To redial the last number called, double-press the
multi-function button while the headset is on standby.

multi-function button.
• To cancel an outgoing call, press and hold (2 sec) the

• To activate voice dialing (if supported by your mobile

• To answer call waiting (if supported by your mobile
device), press the multi-function button once to put
the active call on hold and answer call waiting.
• To reject call waiting, press and hold (2 sec) the
multi-function button.
• To put a call on hold or toggle between calls,
double-press the multi-function button. If you have a
call on hold, this will automatically be activated when
you end the active call.
• To end a call on hold without toggling away from an
active call, press and hold (2 sec) the multi-function
button.
• To transfer an active call from your mobile device to
your headset or vice versa, press and hold (2 sec)
volume up and volume down (••/•) at the same time.
Calls placed on hold will not be transferred to the mobile
device. Only active calls will be transferred.

connect device
Once you have paired Lexington with a specific device,
this device is stored on a list of paired devices in the
headset. The list can hold up to eight devices, which
are all easily connected later on.
• To connect your headset to a device on the list,
turn your headset on within the operating range of
the device. The headset and paired device will
automatically connect. If your headset is already on,
simply press the multi-function button.
• To connect your headset to a new device, you will
need to enter pairing mode; press and hold (2 sec)
the multi-function button and volume up (••) at the
same time and proceed to pair your headset to a
new device.

multipoint
With multipoint, you can pair and connect Lexington
with two mobile devices at the same time.
Use one phone as primary device with all advanced
call functions available, and another as secondary
device with basic call options.
• To assign the primary status to a specific device,
make sure to connect this device to your headset
first. The order in which two devices were paired
with your headset is irrelevant.
• To switch the primary status from one device to
another, press volume up and volume down (••/•) at
the same time. If you make an outgoing call from the
secondary device, this will also change its status to
primary device.
• To answer call waiting (only available from the
inactive device, and only if supported by both the
primary and secondary devices), press the multi-
function button once to put the active call on hold
and answer call waiting. With a touch of the multi-
function button on the Lexington headset, multipoint
will switch the device so you can answer the call.

install the car mount
For convenient charging and easy access to
Lexington in your car, place the novero performance
dock with Lexington in the car mount.
• To install the car mount in the right place, first
connect the car charger to the DC outlet in your
car. Then place the performance dock in the car
mount and, with the glue pads, fasten this to the
dashboard in a place where
1) the micro USB cable can reach from the car
charger to the performance dock,
2) the car mount and performance dock are not
close to an airbag or area where they could harm
you in case of a collision,
3) they are in arm’s reach from the driver’s seat.

protected when not in use.
• Store the headset out of direct sunlight and extreme
temperatures (above 45°C/113°F or below -10°C/-14°F),
as this may shorten the battery life, aect the
operation or degrade the performance of your
headset.
• Store the headset away from magnetic strips
(e.g. on credit cards) and electronic medical devices.
• Handle your headset with care. Do not drop, knock
or shake it, or expose it to heavy dust, dirt,
moisture, rain or other liquids.
• To clean the inside of the charging dock, wipe around
connector pins carefully, using a lint-free cloth.
• Dispose of all product parts in accordance with local
standards and regulations to protect the
environment and promote sustainability.
• Leather care:
– Leather is a natural material that changes over
time. To preserve its original appearance and
prevent stains, treat the product with care and
avoid direct contact with grease, water, perfumes
and make-up.
– To maximize brilliance, polish your headset
carefully with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid contact
with harsh, abrasive materials or glass cleaners.

Go through the list of suggestions below if you
experience any inconvenience with Lexington.
• If there is no sound in your headset:
– Check that the volume is adjusted correctly.
– Check that your headset is paired with your device.
– Check that your headset and device are turned on.
You should then hear a sound from your headset.
– Check that your headset and device are charged.
• If you cannot pair your headset:
– Check that the headset is not already paired with
your device. If not, then repeat the pairing
procedure, or press and hold (2 sec) the multi-
function button and volume down (•) at the same
time to reset the list of paired devices.
• If you hear static or noise in your headset:
– Check that the headset is close to your mobile
device. If not, move the headset closer to the
device.
• If you cannot redial, voice-dial, place a call on
hold or reject a call through your headset:
– Check that these features are supported by the
connected mobile device.
– Check that the mobile device is connected to your
headset as primary device.

1. preparing Lexington
• Turn the volume down to its lowest level. Then put the headset on and slowly adjust the
volume to a comfortable level.
• Make sure that, if installed, the car mount is fastened to the dashboard in a place where
1) the micro USB cable can reach from the car charger to the car mount,
2) the car mount is not close to an airbag or area where it could harm you in case of a
collision,
3) it will hold your headset within arm’s reach from the driver’s seat.
2. using Lexington
• Keep the volume at the lowest level possible and avoid using the headset in noisy
environments where you may be inclined to turn up the volume. If you need to adjust the
volume, do it slowly to avoid sudden, unintended loud sounds.
• If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, stop using the headset immediately and
consult a physician. Continued use at high volume may accustom your ears to the sound level
and result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable discomfort.
• Be cautious about wearing your headset while engaging in any activity that requires your full
attention. Remove or turn o your headset to keep you from being distracted and avoid
accidents.
• Using your headset while operating a motor vehicle, motorcycle, watercraft or bicycle may be
dangerous, and is illegal in some jurisdictions. Please respect local laws.
• If you use a pacemaker, hearing aid or other electronic medical device, please consult your
physician before using the headset.
• Certain electronic and mechanical devices are sensitive to magnetic fields and could be
damaged with exposure to the magnets included in Lexington. Use caution and common
sense while using Lexington in proximity to such devices.
• Never try to dismantle the product yourself. None of the internal components can be
replaced or repaired by users. Only authorized dealers or service centers may open the
product. If any parts of your product require replacement for any reason, including normal
wear and tear or breakage, contact your dealer.
3. keep out of reach of children
• The plastic bags which this product and its parts are wrapped in are not toys for children. The
bags themselves or the many small parts they contain may cause choking if ingested.
4. ACA TS028 – ignition of flammable atmospheres
• Do not use your headset in environments with risk of ignition of flammable gases.
5. disposing of Lexington
• Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery in your headset.
• Dispose of all product parts in accordance with local regulations. If in doubt, please consult
your local authorities.
• The crossed-out wheeled bin means that within the European Union the product must be
taken to separate collection at the product end-of-life. Do not dispose of these products as
unsorted municipal waste.
6. warranty
• novero oers a limited manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase. In
some cases/countries the warranty time can be extended to 24 months. Please visit

to remove the headset battery:
1) Pry open the metal cover on the clip with a sharp tool.
2) Unscrew and remove the clip.
3) Unsnap and remove the plastic cover.
4) Cut the two wires that connect the battery to the PCB.
5) Remove the battery and dispose of it in a battery disposal bin.
to remove the performance dock battery – see illustration:
1) Pry open the metal end covers with a sharp tool.
2) Push out the inner plastic parts.
3) Pull o the top plastic part by breaking the snaps that attach it to the PCB.
4) Unscrew and pull out the PCB assembly with the battery.
5) Cut the two wires that connect the battery to the PCB.
6) Remove the battery and dispose of it in a battery disposal bin.

Bluetooth is a radio technology that connects devices, such as cell phones and headsets,
without wires or cords over a short distance (approx. 10 meters/33 feet).
Bluetooth is safe to use and secure, too. Once two Bluetooth devices have been paired, no one
can listen in and no other Bluetooth devices can interfere.

Bluetooth profiles are the dierent ways that Bluetooth devices communicate with other
devices. Bluetooth phones support the headset profile, the handsfree profile or both. In order
to support a certain profile, a phone manufacturer must implement certain mandatory features
within the software of the phone.
idle (not paired) is the mode where your headset is turned on but not paired to a Bluetooth-
enabled cell phone.
LED is short for light-emitting diode and refers to the light indicator on your headset that
displays dierent red, blue or purple signals depending on specific actions, events or modes.
multipoint allows you to pair and connect your headset to two mobile devices at the same
time, and use one device as primary device with all regular options available and the other as
secondary device with restricted options.
pairing creates a unique and encrypted connection between two Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth
devices will not work together if they have not been paired.
passcode or PIN is the code required to pair a Bluetooth device (e.g. a cell phone) with your
headset.
standby is the mode where your headset is turned on, paired and ready for outgoing or
incoming calls. When a call is ended, the headset automatically returns to standby mode.
