SAFETY (Red Handled) CONTROL SWITCH:The control switch allows you to temporarily disable the remote startingfunction of your Remote Start system. To disable the system, move the redhandled control switch to the OFF position.REMOTE STARTING THE VEHICLE:The system WILL NOT start the vehicle if any one of the following situationsexist:1. The vehicle's hood is opened.2. The gear shift selector is not in Park.3. The brake pedal is depressed.4. The safety control switch is in the Off position.1. To start the vehicle, press and release the transmitter button two timeswithin 2 seconds. The vehicle will start and remain running for one of thepre-programmed 5, 10, 15, or 20 minute run cycles. As a visual indication,the parking lights will flash or remain on depending on the setting by yourinstallation center.2. When you arrive at the vehicle, turn the ignition key to the RUN position(Do not try to restart the vehilce), then step on the brake pedal to disengagethe remote start. The vehicle will continue to run, but now on it's ownpower.SHUTING DOWN THE REMOTE START:To shutdown the vehicle, press and release the transmitter button twotimes within 2 seconds.This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions.1)•This device may not cause harmful interference, and2)•This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.Per FCC 15.21, you are cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the part responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
