Programmable tounlock drivers door and or all doors.Lock and arm/unlock and disarm.  Maybe programmed to unlock driver's dooror all doors. Also will initiate andterminate *Panic.Pulsed or switched output to controlRemote Trunk Release or optionaldevice connected to mode 3.When pressed and release two times,will provide pulsed output or activate theRemote Start option when installed.When so equipped, this button can beused to operate an optional deviceconnected to mode 4.When so equipped, this button can beused to operate an optional deviceconnected to mode 5.These transmitters makes use of icons (symbols) to identify the reac-tion your security system/keyless entry/and or remote start system,where applicable, will have when any icon (button) is pressed.These icons are programmed at time of installation to meet the needs ofthe individual and to complement the vehicle that the system is installedin. 128-86792 of 82Some of the more popular options available for the unused OptionButtons of your transmitter are:AS 9076 Remote car starterAS 9153 Remote window roll upAS 9256 Remote trunk release relayAlthough the most common use of the transmitter buttons are shownon the front page of this guide, any button or button combination can beprogrammed into any receiver mode.  Additionally,  if all 4 buttons areused and you require access to a 5th mode, you would program acombination of buttons to control the 5th function.   i.e... you haveprogrammed lock for arm, unlock for disarm, trunk for trunk release,and OPT1 for garage door operation, and you've added a window upmodule that you want independent control of, you would program un-lock and trunk buttons pressed simultaneously into the receiver to con-trol this function independently.  Also, if you do not program a transmit-ter button into mode 2 which is the separate unlock/disarm mode,then whatever button is programmed into mode 1 will serveas both lock/arm & unlock/disarm.PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS:NOTE: It is important to remember that during the programming mode,each individual step must be completed within 15 seconds ofthe previous step.  If the 15 second time limit expires betweensteps, the unit will automatically exit the program mode. Thisis indicated by a long chirp from the siren.Non alarm models will flash the parking lights only to confirm thetransmitter code has been learned and stored.NOTE: Because the system may be capable of sounding a siren, thevehicle horn, or both, where the siren chirp is referenced be-low, the siren may chirp, the horn may beep, or both devicesmay sound.NOTE: Some systems are capable of single button programming, if youralarm module is capable of this feature, simply complete step 4of these programming instructions for each transmitter you wishto control your system and exit the program mode by switchingoff the ignition key.TO PROGRAM ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTERS:1) Enter the vehicle, and turn the ignition switch to the on position.2) Press and release the valet push button switch three times.NOTE: Some systems may use a combination push-button LEDswitch.  In these systems the push-button and the dash-mounted LED are one and the same.3) The dash mounted LED will flash 1x, and the siren will chirp 1x,indicating that the system is ready to accept programming of mode#1 which is arm/lock, disarm/unlock/unlock 2, and panic functions.
128-86793 of 834) Press and hold the lock or lock/unlock symbol button of the transmit-ter you wish to program for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heardfrom the siren."Repeat step 4 for each transmitter you wish to program".NOTE: If your transmitter button has the Lock/Unlock icon on onebutton, press and release the valet push button switch 2 timesthen move on to step #8.5) Press and release the valet push button switch one time to advanceto mode 2. The siren will chirp 2 times and the dash-mounted LEDwill Flash 2 times, indicating that the unit is ready to accept program-ming  for  mode # 2 which is only used for separate lock andunlock button transmitters and is the disarm/unlock/unlock 2 andpanic.6) Press and hold the unlock symbol button of the transmitter you wishto program for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard from thesiren."Repeat step 6 for each transmitter you wish to program".7) Press and release the valet push button switch one time to ad-vance to mode 3. The siren will chirp 3 times and the dash-mounted LED will Flash 3 times, indicating that the unit is readyto accept programming for mode # 3 which is the trunk re-lease/alternate output mode of the system.8) Press and hold the trunk/key symbol button of the transmitter youwish to program for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard from thesiren."Repeat step 8 for each transmitter you wish to program".9) Press and release the valet push button switch one time to advanceto mode 4 if so equipped. The siren will chirp 4 times and thedash mounted LED will Flash 4 times, indicating that the unit is readyto accept programming for mode # 4, optional device (whereequipped)10) Press and hold the Option button of the transmitter you wish toprogram for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard from thesiren."Repeat step 10 for each transmitter you wish to program".11) Press and release the valet push button switch one time to ad-vance to mode 5 if so equipped.  The siren will chirp 5 times andthe dash mounted LED will Flash 5 times, indicating that the unit isready to accept programming for mode # 5  optional device(where equipped).12) Press and hold the second Option button of the transmitter youwish to program for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard fromthe siren."Repeat step 12 for each transmitter you wish to program".13) Within 10 seconds, press and release the valet programswitch one time.(Siren emits 6 short chirps indicating mode 6 has been entered)
128-86794 of 8414)  Within 10 Seconds, press and hold the unlock button, (or anyunused button(s)), of the first transmitter you wish to controlMode 6 output, (Driver Priority 1) until a long chirp is heardfrom the siren.(Repeat this for each transmitter you wish to operate the Mode 6output, Driver Priority 1)15)  Within 10 seconds, press and release the valet program switchone time.(Siren emits 7 short chirps indicating mode 7 has been entered)16) Within 10 Seconds, press and hold the unlock button (or anyunused button(s)) of the first transmitter you wish to controlMode 7 output, (Driver Priority 2) until a long chirp is heardfrom the siren.(Repeat this for each transmitter you wish to operate the Mode 7output, Driver Priority 2)NOTE:  Modes 6 and 7 can be used as a separate output tocontrol a function other than driver priority.  Simply program-ming any unused transmitter button other than the unlockbutton will allow complete independent control of theseoutputs.ERASING TRANSMITTERS IF THEY HAVE BEEN LOST OR STOLEN:NOTE: Before you begin to erase the lost or stolen transmitter(s), haveall transmitters available that you wish to remain programmed.These will be used during the program process to identifytransmitters that will continue to be used.Enter the transmitter program mode:1. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position.2. Within 10 seconds, press and release the valet/program switchthree times.  (Siren emits 1 short chirp indicating mode 1 hasbeen entered)3. Within 10 Seconds, press and hold the ARM or ARM/DISARMbutton of the first transmitter you wish to remain stored into thecontrol unit until a single chirp is heard from the siren.(Repeat this for each transmitter you wish to remain stored in the controlunit).The receiver stores up to four transmitters.  To be certain all transmitterslots in the receiver are occupied with transmitters you wish to con-tinue to use and all others are erased, you will have to fill all fourreceiver slots.  If in step 3 you identified one transmitter, you will haveto fill the additional 3 slots.  If in step 3 you identified two transmitters,you will have to fill the additional two slots, etc...4. Press and hold any unused button or combination of buttons until along chirp is heard from the siren.  Release and press the button orbutton combination again and again until all remaining slots are full.
128-86795 of 85NOTE: The button or combination of buttons entered will also controlthe arm or arm/disarm function until additional transmitters areadded. All unwanted transmitters are now deleted.REPRIORITIZING A TRANSMITTER’S PROGRAMMING:To reprogram a receiver mode with a different transmitter buttononce a code has been stored, there will be two options:1. Enter the transmitter program mode of the receiver mode to bereprogrammed.  Using any unused button or combination of but-tons, push out the stored code by pressing the unused button untila long chirp is heard, then repeat 3 additional times.  After this, youcan add any desired unused transmitter button.  This action erasesonly the button stored of the transmitter you are programming.  Allother codes will remain stored.2.  Enter the transmitter program mode.  Using any transmitter buttonpress and hold until a long chirp is heard.  If a single chirp or multiplechirps, (up to 7 chirps), are heard, the unit is indicating that thetransmitter has already been programmed elsewhere in the re-ceiver.  Release the transmitter button and within 5 seconds pressand hold until a long chirp is heard.  This action forces the unit toerase all stored codes of that transmitter.The unit then exits the program mode the siren emits the program modeexit chirp pattern.  All transmitter buttons for that transmitter must nowbe reprogrammed.  Any other transmitter stored in the unit’s memory stillremain operational. If the button is released and not pressed againwithin the 5 second period, no change in programming has been madeto the receiver mode.  The programmer can move onto a differentmode or erase the transmitter codes as described in 1 above.BATTERY REPLACEMENT:The transmitter incorporates a small LED visible through the case whichis used to indicate battery condition.  You will notice a decrease intransmitter range as the battery condition deteriorates.  Transmit-ter battery replacement is recommended at least every 10 to 12 months,depending upon how frequently the transmitter is used.  To replace the battery:1) Remove the 2 small # 0 Phillips head screw from the rear of thecase.2)  Remove the rear cover to access the discharged battery payingattention to the proper polarity orientation.3) Carefully remove and properly dispose of thedischarged battery.4) Insert the new battery, being certain the metal key ring bar is in it'sproper location, close the case, then reinstall the 2 small case screwremoved in step 1.5) If you accidently dislodge the circuit board from the transmitter hous-ing, be certain that the rubber membrane is seated properly, and thebuttons are properly exposed from the front view of the case,then insert the circuit board, and return to step #4.This Transmitter uses CR2032 Coin Cell Type Batteries.SEE ASSOCIATED DIAGRAMS ON FOLLOWING PAGE
128-86796 of 86After removing the two #0point phillips screws shownpry apart case with theedge of a finger nail or asmall common screwdriver.Keep hold of the metal keyring loop to prevent it's lossas it will separate from thetransmitter case.Carefully remove thedischarged battery bysliding it out from under theclip in the direction indicatedby the arrow in the diagrambelow.
