Thank you for purchasing the Turntable with Bluetooth®.
To use this product safely, read and understand this operation manual
thoroughly before using.
After reading this manual, keep it in a safe place so that it can be referred to
when necessary.
Safety precautions
The information you need to prevent danger to the user and other people as well as property damage is described below.
“Description of signs” shows different levels of danger or damage that may occur due to wrong handling.
Important notes
This book is only a guide for user's operation, not a criterion for configuration.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
The lightning flash is intended to alert the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the product's
enclosure, and touching the internal components may result in a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamatory mark is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating instructions.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, do not open the cover. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Description of signs
Indicates that there is a risk of death or
serious injury.
Indicates that there is a risk of minor injury or
property damage.
What to do in the case of an abnormality
Stop using the device immediately in the case of an abnormality or failure.
• Remove the power plug from the receptacle immediately when water or any foreign object enters the
interior of the device.
It may cause a fire or electric shock. Remove the power plug immediately, and contact your dealer for a repair.
AC adapter
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage,
• Insert the AC adapter plug fully into an AC power outlet.
If there is dirt or dust on the pins or pin installation surface of the AC adapter, disconnect the AC adapter and
remove the dirt or dust.
• Do not insert or remove the power plug with a wet hand.
• Observe the following when handling the power cord of the AC adapter.
• Do not damage it. • Do not modify it (e.g. extension). • Do not heat it.
• Do not pull it. • Do not place a heavy object on it. • Do not pinch it.
• Do not bend it forcefully. • Do not twist it. • Do not bundle it.
• When disconnecting the AC adapter from the power outlet, hold the AC adapter plug while pulling.
• If the device will not be used for a long time, remove the power cord of the AC adapter from the AC power
outlet.
• Do not use any AC adapter other than the one that comes with the device.
• Do not use the AC adapter that comes with the device for any other product.
Usage
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage,
• Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
• Do not insert any foreign object into the device.
• In case of lightning, do not touch the power cord.
• Do not use cracked or warped records, or records repaired using adhesive. Doing so may cause injury as
broken pieces may be scattered.
• Before carrying the device, remove the power plug from the receptacle.
• Do not place a heavy object on the device.
• To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
Installation
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage,
• Place the unit on a  at surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
• Do not install the device in a con ned or build-in space such as a book case or similar area, and keep it
under a well-ventilated condition. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
• Do not expose the device to rain, moisture, dripping, or splashing.
• Do not place objects  lled with liquids, such as vases, on the device.
Notes
If any color shift occurs on a nearby TV or the radio of the device picks up noise from the TV, keep the device away from the TV.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they
exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

About using Bluetooth®
This unit is designed for use with Bluetooth® wireless devices compatible with the HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP streaming audio
profiles. Refer to your Bluetooth® device’s user manual or technical support to determine if your Bluetooth® device supports these
profiles.
Frequency band used
This unit uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band. However other
wireless devices may use 2.4 GHz frequency band as well and
may cause interference with each other. To avoid interference,
please refrain from the use of the unit at the same time with other
wireless devices.
Certi cation of this device
This unit conforms to frequency restrictions and has received
certification based on frequency laws, so a wireless permit is not
necessary.
However, the following action is punishable by law in some
countries:
Taking apart/modifying the unit.
Usage restrictions
• Wireless transmission and/or use with all Bluetooth® equipped
devices is not guaranteed.
• A device featuring the Bluetooth® function is required to
conform to the Bluetooth® standard speci ed by Bluetooth SIG,
and be authenticated. Even if the connected device conforms to
the above mentioned Bluetooth® standard, some devices may
not be connected or work correctly, depending on the features
or speci cations of the device.
Range of use
Use this device within an unobstructed 10 m range. The range
of use or perimeter may be shortened depending on any
obstructions, devices causing interference, other people in the
room, or the construction of the building. Please note that the
range mentioned above is not guaranteed.
The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and are used under license.
Unpacking and set up
1Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove all packing material from the unit.
2Unwind the AC adapter jack and extend it to its full length.
3Place the unit on a stable, level surface, convenient to an AC outlet and outside of any strong magnetic
fields.
4Remove the opaque white plastic stylus cover from the phonograph stylus by sliding it in the direction
of the arrow.
During this operation pay attention to the stylus, because damage to the stylus is not covered by the warranty.
5Remove the twist-tie used to secure the tone arm during the shipment.
6Release the tone arm lock. (When transporting the unit, lock the tone arm again.)
7Use a screwdriver to turn the transit screw clockwise (screw going down) completely to unlock the
turntable. (When transporting the unit, turn the screw counter-clockwise to lock the turntable again.)

Common operation
How to use the buttons
• Press: means to press the button brie y and then release it (less than 2 seconds).
Press and hold: means to continue to press the button for a longer period of time (2 seconds or more).
Mode select (PHONO/Bluetooth®/
LINE IN/USB)
Press the POWER/FUNCTION button to choose your desired mode.
The LED indicator of the selected mode will light up.
Volume adjustment Press the (VOL./FOLD.) button or (VOL./FOLD.) button.
Power supply
1Connect the AC adapter to an AC POWER outlet.
2Connect the DC plug of the AC adapter to the DC-IN jack.
3Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.
The PHONO PLAYER indicator will light up after a while.
4Press and hold the POWER/FUNCTION button to turn on the unit.
5When you have finished using the unit, press and hold the POWER/FUNCTION button to turn it off.
Notes
When a function is selected, but no further instructions or signals are sent to the unit for 30 minutes, the unit will automatically turn o .
When the unit is automatically turned o , if you press and hold the POWER/FUNCTION button, the power will turn on again.
If the device will not be used for a long time, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF then remove the power cord of the AC adapter from the AC
power outlet.
Playing records
This unit includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33, 45 and 78 RPM records.
Please be sure that you have removed the stylus cover from the stylus and have released the tone arm lock.
During record playing, please open the dust cover.
1Press and hold the (VOL./FOLD.) button to set the volume to a low level.
2Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed (33/45/78 RPM).
3Place the record on the turntable. If you are playing a 45 RPM single, place the 45 RPM adapter on the
center spindle.
4When you choose to play a certain song, move the tone arm to the record and pull the LIFT LEVER
gently forward toward yourself.
The tone arm is gently lowered onto the record and the song will start playing.
5When the song has finished playing, push the LIFT LEVER gently backward away from yourself.
The tone arm is gently lifted off the record and the song will stop playing.
Phonograph recording operation (PHONO-REC)
1Plug a USB drive into the USB socket.
2Play records (see steps 1 to 4 of Playing records).
3Press the /REC button.
The REC indicator lights up, and it starts recording the music from the record.
4Press the /REC button again when you have finished recording.
The REC indicator turns off, and the recording stops.
Notes
PHONO-REC is only for phonograph recording.
PHONO-REC is for recording the music from the phono record onto a USB drive.
USB operation
This unit is equipped with a USB socket that can play MP3/WMA files stored on a standard USB flash drive (compatible with USB
version 2.0).
1Press the POWER/FUNCTION button to turn on USB mode with USB PLAYER indicator on.
2Insert the USB drive into the USB socket on the unit.
The player will start playing the tracks on the USB drive.
3Press and hold the (VOL./FOLD.) or (VOL./FOLD.) button to choose your desired track.
4Press the /PAIR button to pause or play the track.
When playback is paused, press and hold the (VOL./FOLD.) or (VOL./FOLD.) button for 5 seconds to select a folder in
the USB.
Notes
The USB-MP3 playing mode has a memory function. When reinserting the same USB drive, playback will resume from the track played last
time.
USB drives with more than 32GB memory may not be compatible.
Although this product is fully compatible with USB 2.0 standard formats, a small percentage of USB drives might not be readable due to the
device manufacturers’ non-compliance with the full (o cial) USB standards.
Please be sure to stop playback and turn the unit o before removing the USB drive to avoid damage to the USB drive and the unit.
Bluetooth® operation
1Press the POWER/FUNCTION button to turn on Bluetooth® mode with Bluetooth® indicator on.
2Set up the Bluetooth® playback device so that it searches for other Bluetooth® devices.
3Select the entry TY-LP100 from the list of found devices on your Bluetooth® playback device.
If the pairing is successful, you will hear a pairing confirmation tone.
4Play and enjoy your music from your playback device.
Press and hold the (VOL./FOLD.) or (VOL./FOLD.) button to choose your desired track.
Notes
The next time you turn on the unit it will automatically connect to the last Bluetooth® playback device connected. If your Bluetooth®
playback device does not automatically reconnect to the unit, you will have to re-establish the connection to your Bluetooth® device
manually.
Line Out operation
The unit has a set of LINE OUT jacks on the rear panel to which you can plug in external speakers.
1Insert the audio cables (not included) into the matching "LINE OUT" jacks of the unit.
2Operate the unit as usual.
Through the external speakers, you can listen to sound from sources played back on the unit.
Notes
In order to achieve best sound quality, we advise setting the unit volume to the minimum level.
LINE IN operation
This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input jack for connecting external audio devices such as MP3 players and CD players, so
you can listen to your external source through the speakers of this unit.
1Plug one end into the LINE IN jack on the unit and the other end to the LINE OUT jack of the audio
device.
Use an audio cable (not included) with one 3.5 mm stereo connection on each end of the cable.
2Turn on both the unit and the audio device.
3The volume level can be controlled through the unit. Operate all the functions on the auxiliary device
as usual.
Notes
If the LINE OUT jack of your external device is connected, then you only need to adjust the volume control of this unit.
Maintenance
Care for the unit in the same way as for any piece of furniture.
When the dust cover is dusty, wipe it using a soft, non-abrasive dust cloth.
If the wood panel becomes smudged with  ngerprints, use any good quality commercial dusting and polishing spray cleaner.
We recommend spraying the cleaner on the cloth, not directly on the wooden panel.
Replacing the stylus
It is suggested to replace the stylus after playing for more than 400 hours. Please follow steps below to change the stylus.
1Lift the tone arm off the tone arm lock.
2At the front end of the tone arm, place the tip of your fingernail between the red stylus holder and the
black cartridge housing as shown, and press down on the red stylus holder until it separates from the
cartridge housing.
3Completely remove the red stylus holder with the worn stylus and discard it.
4Place the new red stylus holder with stylus under the cartridge housing. Press upward on the back side
of the stylus holder, and then press up on the front edge of the stylus holder until it snaps into place on
the cartridge housing.
Replacing the cartridge from the tone arm
To replace the cartridge from the tone arm please follow the procedure below.
1Gently lift the tone arm off the tone arm lock.
2Using your left hand to hold the tone arm and using your right hand to hold the rear portion of the
cartridge, push the cartridge backwards and downwards according to the direction shown below to
separate the cartridge from the tone arm.
3Using either a pair of tweezers or your fingers, carefully unplug the terminals from the old cartridge.
4Carefully connect the terminals to the new cartridge (not included).
5To re-install the new cartridge to the tone arm, first lock the front end of the new cartridge on the hook
of the tone arm.
6Press the rear side of the new cartridge upwards to lock it onto the tone arm.
Notes
Please do not damage the stylus when installing the new cartridge.
