Your enclosed device plugs into the On Board Diagnosis
(OBD) port of your vehicle.
Please follow the instructions below to install the device.
a) Locate the OBD port in your vehicle. This port is
usually located under the dashboard on the driver’s
side and may have a cover – the picture shows the
typical vehicle OBD port location.
b) Plug the device firmly into the OBD port – the
picture shows how it works.
c) Wait a few seconds for the LED lights to turn ON,
confirming successful installation. (RED and BLUE
Led only)
After installing the device, you will receive a welcome SMS
to confirm the activation of the Telematics services.
NOTE: the procedure requires that the vehicle is outside in an open area to have a good GSM signal
and the possibility of satellite reception. Check that the terminal has been correctly associated with
the contract.
- If you suspect the device is interfering with vehicle operation, please immediately unplug the device and contact Octo Telematics
for further assistance.
- At least 1cm separation distance between the device and the user’s body must be maintained at all times.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and Industry.
Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) The device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
