Using the TRG-200 Umotion RemoteThe TRG-200 remote consists of basic buttons found on many otherremotes with the exception of the special Umotion button. Use thesefunctions to control your rooms and connected devices. All buttonsmay vary based on your Custom Professional’s programming.TRG-200 UMOTION REMOTEPage 2Number keypadEnter numbers for the devicesyou’ve selected. When Colored ButtonsUse the Red, Green, Yellow andBlue buttons for devices likeyour Cable, SAT or Blu-Ray.watching Cable TV, use the number keypad to enter channel numbers. When listening to aCD, use the number keypad to enter track numbers.Transport The Transport buttons(Skip-, Play, Skip+, REW,Pause, FF, Stop and REC)operate for the devicecurrently in use. Volume +/- & MuteControl the Volumewhile viewing connected devices likeCable, Sat , DVD etc...Also view the on-screenvolume status via a display device.Umotion ControlOpens the MRX-20’s on-screen interface andallows for motioncontrol and buttonselection.MainDisplays the MRX-20’sMain menu. TRG-200 UMOTION REMOTEUsing the TRG-200 Umotion Remote (cont...)In addition to the basic options, it is important to know theadditional features the buttons listed below provide, whencontrolling an MRX-20 Advanced Network System Controller.Power: Turns the connected devices in the room ON or OFF.lWhen a room is OFF: Pressing Power sends out a series ofcommands to turn ON all required devices to view the on-screen display.lWhen a room is ON: Pressing Power sends out a series ofcommands to turn off all connected A/V devices in that room, such as a display device or an optional SNP-1 music player.lPressing and holding the Power button for three secondsdisplays a programmer customizable on-screen Powermenu. By default the options are: Turn OFF Room, TurnOFF House. Other options may vary based on theprogramming. See Power Menu below.Page 3Press andhold thePower buttonfor threeseconds toopen thePower menu.
Page 4TRG-200 UMOTION REMOTEInstalling the BatteriesOpen the battery cover by pushing up on the springlock at the bottom of the cover. Remove the cover.Observe the + and – polarity indicators inside thebattery compartment and the batteries. Place two AAbatteries into their positions inside the battery compartment.Now, replace the battery cover and snap it into place.Main: Displays the MRX-20’s Main menu via a connected display device.lWhen a display device is OFF: Pressing Main sends out aseries of commands to turn ON all required devices to viewthe on-screen interface. When the display turns on, the MRX-20 Main menu also opens.lWhen a display device is ON: Pressing Main, while thedisplay device is on, opens the Main menu of the MRX-20.Umotion: Allows for motion control and button selection via on-screen interface. While viewing a device, press the Umotion buttonto activate on-screen control and open the Quick Bar menu. Point theTRG-200 towards the television. As you move the remote, an on-screen pointer will mimic your movements. To select a button,hover over your selection and press the Umotion button again.Pressing any button other than Umotion, exits the on-screen interfaceand motion control.Note: Using an Internet TV? Keep in mind, the on-screen interfaceonly works with devices connected to the MRX-20 Advanced NetworkSystem Controller. If you are using the display device’s internalsources, like Internet TV (Netflix, Hulu) or a directly connected device,they will not operate with Umotion.
TRG-200 UMOTION REMOTE Page 5Pairing to a TRF-GE1 and/or MRX-20Before you can begin to use the TRG-200 Umotion remote, it isnecessary to pair it with either a TRF-GE1 or the MRX-20 AdvancedNetwork System Controller. If pairing with a TRF-GE1, press and hold the pairing button(located on the bottom of the unit) for three seconds to enter thepairing mode. When the TRF-GE1 enters pairing mode, the StatusLED flashes orange. A successful pairing is confirmed when theStatus LED flashes green three times. The MRX-20 is paired, byyour Custom Professional, using the URC Accelerator PC software.To pair the TRG-200, press and hold the Main and Sel buttons forthree seconds. Once paired, the Umotion button will flash threetimes. Keep in mind, a TRG-200 remote can only be paired withone MRX-20/TRF-GE1 at a time. If it is paired with a new MRX-20/TRF-GE1, the previous configuration will no longer work.Press and holdMain and Sel forthree seconds.Once paired, theUmotion buttonwill flash threetimes.
Page 6TRG-200 UMOTION REMOTEMaintaining Your TRG-200 Umotion RemoteThe TRG-200 Umotion remote is not waterproof. Do not use it inany location that is damp or wet. If you spill water on it, removethe batteries and let the TRG-200 Umotion remote dry for 48 hoursbefore you try powering it up again. If you spill coffee or anotherbeverage on it, clean it with distilled water. Make sure no watergets inside the TRG-200 Umotion remote. Keep it away fromextreme cold or heat.
