Your Parrot Mambo FPV™ contains the following:
1. One Parrot Mambo FPV™ drone;
2. One Parrot Flypad™ joystick. You can fly your Parrot
Mambo FPV with the Parrot Flypad or by downloading the
FreeFlight Mini™ app to your smartphone or tablet. This
app is free of charge but might contain In-App Purchase
offers. It also allows you to calibrate your Parrot Mambo
FPV;
3. One mini-HD Wi-Fi camera;
4. One high capacity battery.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

1. Place the battery in the slot provided for this
purpose.
2. With the micro-USB cable, connect the Parrot
Mambo to a computer or a USB power adapter.
The charging LED is solid red during charging.

The charging time is approximately 30 minutes
with a 2.1A charger. When charging is completed,
the charging LED turns green.
To remove the battery, lift the tab and slide the
battery backwards.
CHARGING THE PARROT
FLYPAD'S BATTERY
1. Connect the micro-USB cable to the micro-USB
port of the Parrot Flypad.
2. Connect the USB port to a computer or a USB
power adapter.
The LED turns red during charging.
The charging time is approximately 2 hours with a
2.1A charger.
When charging is complete, the LED turns green.
The Parrot Flypad has a battery life of approximately
6 hours.

or press the On/Off switch.
>The Parrot Mambo lights up.
1. Place the Parrot Mambo on a flat surface with
the propellers facing upwards.
2. Wait for the LED lights to start flashing green.
3. Press the Parrot Flypad's On/off button.
> The Parrot Flypad and Parrot Mambo LED
light flashes green and then turns solid green
once the connection is established.

CONNECTING THE
CAMERA TO THE PARROT
MAMBO FPV
1. Connect the Camera to the Parrot Mambo FPV.
2. Launch FreeFlight Mini on the smartphone and
connect the app to the drone.
> On iOS: the app prompts you to enable Wi-
Fi to connect the smartphone to the Parrot
Mambo FPV. The name of the Wi-Fi network
is: MAMBO_XXXX.
> On Android, the app will be able to locate
and connect to the Parrot Mambo FPV. A
pop-up window may appear to confirm the
connection to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
Otherwise, manually connect the smartphone
to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
3. The video appears on the FreeFlight Mini app
home page.
> To record the Parrot Mambo FPV video, insert
a micro-SD memory card into the connector
on the back of the camera before installing it
in the Parrot Mambo FPV.
>The recorded videos are in HD 720p format.

USING THE PARROT
COCKPITGLASSES
FreeFlight Mini in FPV mode must be enabled
before placing the smartphone in the Parrot
Cockpitglasses.
1. Unfold the Parrot Cockpitglasses
2. Launch the FreeFlight Mini app on the
smartphone, connect the drone and activate
FPV mode .
3. Open the front cover of the Parrot
Cockpitglasses.
4. Place the smartphone in the centre point of the
height and length of the Parrot Cockpitglasses.

5. Close the front cover to hold the smartphone in
the Parrot Cockpitglasses.
Make sure the front cover is securely closed and
the smartphone is firmly in position.
INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE
ADJUSTMENT
1. Adjust the Parrot Cockpitglasses strap before
putting it on.
2. Make sure the lenses are at your eye level
by adjusting the position of the Parrot
Cockpitglasses on your nose.
3. Adjust the distance between the lenses in
relation to your view by sliding the cursors on
the top of the Parrot Cockpitglasses.

HULLS
Attach the hulls to the arms of the Parrot Mambo.
Make sure that the hulls are securely fastened to
the Parrot Mambo studs by pressing downwards.
Remove the hulls: gently remove the hulls from the
studs of the Parrot Mambo.
FREEFLIGHT MINI
You can configure the settings of your Parrot
Mambo and your Parrot Flypad.
To do this:
Login to the App Store® or Google PlayTM and
download the free FreeFlight Mini app.

Accessories and spare parts are available from your Parrot retailer or the parrot.
com website.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE
The Parrot Mambo is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
The Parrot Mambo is a model aircraft designed for recreation and leisure.
The pilot must, at all times, maintain eye contact with the Parrot Mambo and
control its trajectory. The Parrot Mambo must be used according to the rules
of civil aviation in your country. The places where it is used must be suitable for
manoeuvring in order to ensure the continuous safety of people, animals and
property. It may not be permitted to use the Parrot Mambo in certain places in
the public domain (e.g. train station, airport, etc.) or on public roads.
To use the Parrot Mambo indoors, install the hulls so the Parrot Mambo is
protected in the event of a collision with another object.
The Parrot Mambo's propellers in flight can cause damage to people, animals
or objects. Do not touch the Parrot Mambo when in flight. Keep a safe distance
and wait until the propellers stop completely before handling the Parrot
Mambo.
Only use the Parrot Mambo gun with the balls designed for the Parrot Mambo.
Only use accessories specified by Parrot Drones SAS.
If sand or dust gets into the Parrot Mambo, it may be irreparably damaged and
no longer function properly.
Do not use the Parrot Mambo in adverse weather conditions (rain, strong wind
or snow) or when visibility is poor (at night).
Keep the Parrot Mambo away from high voltage power lines, buildings or any
other potentially hazardous areas.
Do not use this device near liquids. Do not place the Parrot Mambo on water or
on a wet surface as this could cause irreparable damage.
Do not leave the Parrot Mambo in the sun.
WARNING: THE PARROT MAMBO AND ITS ACCESSORIES ARE MADE UP
OF OR INCLUDE SMALL ELEMENTS - CHOKING HAZARD - DO NOT FIRE

WARRANTY

RISK OF CONVULSIONS (PARROT COCKPITGLASSES)
For some people (about 1 in 4,000), strong light stimulation or a rapid succession
of images can cause severe dizziness, convulsions, epileptic seizures or a feeling
of faintness, which can occur when watching television, playing video games or
during a virtual reality experience, even if they have never felt such discomfort
before or have no history of convulsions or epileptic seizures. These types of
ailments are more common in children and young adults under the age of 20.

Anyone who has suffered seizures, a loss of consciousness or other symptoms
related to epilepsy should consult a doctor before using Parrot Cockpitglasses.
CHILDREN (PARROT COCKPITGLASSES)
Parrot Cockpitglasses should not be used by children under the age of 14.
Adults should supervise children (14 years of age or over) who use or have
used Parrot Cockpitglasses to ensure the absence of symptoms such as those
described above, and should limit the duration of use of Parrot Cockpitglasses
by children and impose breaks.
HOW TO RECYCLE THIS PRODUCT
This symbol on the product or its documentation indicates that it must
not be disposed of with household waste. Uncontrolled waste disposal
may harm the environment or human health. Please separate your device

Recording and broadcasting an individual's image without their permission
may constitute an invasion of privacy and you may be held liable. Ask

BATTERY
WARNING: Failure to follow all the instructions may result in serious injury,
irreparable damage to the battery and may cause a fire, smoke or explosion.
Always check the battery's condition before charging or using it. Replace the
battery if it has been dropped, or in case of odour, overheating, discolouration,
deformation or leakage. Never use anything other than the approved LiPo
charger to charge the battery. Always use a balancing charger for LiPo cells or
a LiPo cell balancer. Never trickle charge or charge under 2.5 V per cell. The
temperature of the battery should never exceed 60°C (140°F) otherwise the

CONNECTER LA
CAMERA AU PARROT
MAMBO FPV
1. Branchez la Camera sur le Parrot Mambo FPV.
2. Lancez FreeFlight Mini sur le smartphone et
connectez l’application au drone.
>Sur iOS : l’application invite à activer le Wi-Fi
afin de connecter le smartphone au Parrot Mambo
FPV. Le nom du réseau Wi-Fi est de la forme :
MAMBO_XXXX.
>Sur Android, l’application pourra repérer et se
connecter au Parrot Mambo FPV. Une fenêtre pop-
up peut apparaitre pour confirmer la connection
au réseau Wi-Fi de la camera. Dans le cas contraire,
connectez manuellement le smartphone au réseau
Wi-Fi de la caméra.
3. La vidéo apparait dans la page d’accueil de
l’application FreeFlight Mini.
>Pour enregistrer la vidéo du Parrot Mambo
FPV, insérer une carte mémoire micro-SD dans le
connecteur à l’arrière de la camera avant de l’ins-
taller sur le Parrot Mambo FPV.
>Les vidéos enregistrées sont au format HD
720p.

FreeFlight Mini en mode FPV doit être activé

1. Dépliez les Parrot Cockpiglasses
2. Lancez l’application FreeFlight Mini sur le
smartphone, connectez le drone et activez le
mode FPV .
3. Ouvrez le capot frontal des Parrot Cockpitglasses.
4. Placez le smartphone centré en hauteur et en
largeur dans les Parrot Cockpitglasses.

5. Fermez le capot frontal pour maintenir le
smartphone dans les Parrot Cockpitglasses.
Assurez-vous que le capot frontal est bien fermé
et le smartphone bien maintenu.
RÉGLAGE DE LA DISTANCE
INTERPUPILLAIRE
1. Ajustez la sangle des Parrot Cockpitglasses
avant de le porter.
2. Assurez-vous que les lentilles soient à la hauteur
de vos yeux en ajustant la pose du Parrot
Cockpitglasses sur le nez.
3. Ajustez l’écartement des lentilles par rapport à
votre vue en faisant glisser les curseurs en haut
des Parrot Cockpitglasses.

PRÉCAUTIONS D’UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN
Le Parrot Mambo ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.
Le Parrot Mambo est un aéromodèle conçu à des fins récréatives et de loisirs.
Le pilote doit, à tout instant, conserver un contact visuel avec le Parrot Mambo
et contrôler sa trajectoire. Le Parrot Mambo doit être utilisé conformément
aux règles de l’aviation civile de votre pays. Les lieux d’utilisation doivent être
adaptés à son évolution pour assurer en permanence la sécurité des personnes,
des animaux et des biens. L’utilisation du Parrot Mambo dans certains lieux du
domaine public (par ex : gare, aéroports…..) ou sur la voie publique peut ne
pas être autorisée.
Pour utiliser le Parrot Mambo à l’intérieur, installez les carènes afin de protéger
le Parrot Mambo en cas de collision avec un autre objet.
Les hélices du Parrot Mambo en vol peuvent causer des dommages à des
personnes, des animaux ou à des objets. Ne touchez pas le Parrot Mambo en
vol. Gardez une distance de sécurité et patientez jusqu’à l’arrêt total des hélices
avant de manipuler le Parrot Mambo .
Utilisez le canon du Parrot Mambo uniquement avec les billes conçues pour le
Parrot Mambo. Utilisez uniquement les accessoires spécifiés par Parrot Drones
SAS.
Si du sable ou de la poussière pénètre dans le Parrot Mambo , celui-ci peut ne
plus fonctionner correctement, de manière irréversible.
N’utilisez pas le Parrot Mambo dans des conditions météorologiques
défavorables (pluie, vent fort, neige) ou lorsque les conditions de visibilité sont
insuffisantes (nuit).
Maintenez le Parrot Mambo à l’écart de lignes de haute tension, bâtiments ou
toute autre zone potentiellement dangereuse.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité de substances liquides. Ne posez pas
le Parrot Mambo sur l’eau ou sur une surface humide, cela pourrait causer des
dommages irréversibles.
Ne laissez pas le Parrot Mambo au soleil.

Pour certaines personnes (environ 1 sur 4 000), les stimulations lumineuses
fortes ou la succession rapide d’images peuvent entraîner des vertiges
sévères, des convulsions, des crises d’épilepsie ou des malaises, ce qui peut se
produire lorsqu’elles regardent la télévision, jouent à des jeux vidéo ou vivent
une expérience de réalité virtuelle, même si elles n’ont jamais ressenti de tels
malaises auparavant ou n’ont aucun antécédent de convulsions ou de crises
épileptiques. Ces types de malaises sont plus fréquents chez les enfants et les
jeunes adultes âgés de moins de 20 ans. Toute personne ayant déjà subi des
convulsions, une perte de conscience ou tout autre symptôme en rapport avec
l’épilepsie doit consulter un médecin avant d’utiliser les Parrot Cockpitglasses.

BATTERIE
ATTENTION : Le non-respect de l’ensemble des instructions peut provoquer

batterie à l’exception d’un chargeur approuvé LiPo. Toujours utiliser un chargeur

effectuer de chargement à régime lent, ou en dessous de 2,5 V par cellule.
La température de la batterie ne doit jamais excéder les 60 °C (140 °F) sinon
la batterie pourrait être endommagée ou s’enflammer. Ne jamais effectuer de
charge sur un support inflammable, à proximité de produits inflammables , de
toutes sources de chaleur ou à l’intérieur d’un véhicule (placer de préférence
la batterie dans un récipient non inflammable et non conducteur). Ne jamais
laisser la batterie sans surveillance durant le processus de charge. Ne jamais
désassembler ou modifier le câblage du boîtier, ou percer les cellules. Toujours
s’assurer que la tension de sortie du chargeur corresponde à la tension de
