To do so, plug the charger into your vehicle’s cigar lighter or connect the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM to your computer using the USB/mini USB cable (provided). Refer to the diagrams p.4. > The LED located next to the mini-USB port turns red to indicate that the battery is being charged. > The LED turns off once the battery is fully charged. • When the battery level is low, the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM emits a series of beeps. Installing the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM Use the clip located on the back of the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM to fix it to the sun visor of your vehicle. Refer to the diagrams p.5. You can also use your Parrot MINIKIT SLIM at home by simply placing it on a stable surface. Accessing the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM menu Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. • Press the jog dial to access the main menu. > The Parrot MINIKIT SLIM says the name of the current menu. • Browse through the menus by turning the jog dial and confirm with the green button or by pressing the jog dial. • To exit the menu, press the red button or wait for a few seconds. Connecting a phone / PDA by Bluetooth Before using the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM with your phone, you first have to connect both devices. If you are using this device for the first time, you will have to pair both devices before connecting them. The pairing process is only required once. 1. From your Bluetooth ® phone, search for Bluetooth peripherals (refer to your phone user guide for more information). > The list of the available Bluetooth peripherals is displayed. 2. Select “MINIKIT SLIM”. 3. Enter the “1234” PIN code and validate. > The Parrot MINIKIT SLIM says « Pairing successful » when both devices are paired. You can pair up to five devices. If you attempt to pair a sixth phone, the kit says «memory full». You must clear the memory by holding down both the red and green buttons for three seconds. Doing so also clears all the contacts and the associated voiceprints. Using the telephony function Before using your Parrot MINIKIT SLIM telephony function, you first have to connect both devices. ►Refer to the “Connecting a phone via Bluetooth” section for more information. Synchronising the phonebook With some Bluetooth phones, the phonebook is automatically synchronized in the kit’s memory. If your phone doesn’t support automatic synchronization, you can also use the Object Push function of your phone to send contacts from your mobile to the car kit via Bluetooth. To do so: 1. From the main menu, select Phone > Receive contacts. > The kit says Waiting for contact. 2. Refer to your phones’ user guide for more information about sending contacts via Object Push. Commands Buttons Functions Recording voice tags All your contacts, after automatic synchronization or Object Push process, are directly provided with a voice tag in the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. Consequently, you don’t have to record your own voice tag on each contact to make a call via the voice recognition process. However, if the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM doesn’t understand the name of one of your contacts, you can record a new voice tag. To do so, press the jog dial and select Add voice tags. - answer an incoming call - use the voice recongnition function - long press : call the last dialled number - short press during a call : transfer a call on the mobile phone - reject an incoming call - hang up - adjust the communication volume - short press during a call : use the DTMF function (to manage interactive vocal servers) Receiving a call An incoming call is indicated by a ringtone. The name of the caller is announced if his number is known by the kit. • If you want to answer the call, press the green button. Then press the red button to end the call. • If you want to refuse this call, press the red button. Making a call via voice recognition This functionality is only available if your contacts have already been recorded in the kit. Making a call • If the contact you want to call is in the phonebook of the phone connected to the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM: 1. Press the jog dial to enter the main menu and select Phonebook. > You access the phonebook of the connected phone. 2. Select a letter and push the jog dial; > Once the contact chosen: - Press the green key to call this contact; - Use the jog dial to choose between different numbers of the same contact. • If the contact you want to call is not in the phonebook of the phone connected to the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, stop your vehicle in a safe location and use your phone to make the call. 10 1. Press the green button to launch the voice recognition feature. > A beep is emitted. 2. Say the « Call » keyword and the name of the contact you want to call. > The call is automatically launched if the voice tag is correctly understood. If it is not the case, a confirmation message is asked by the kit. You can make a call via voice recognition using several combinations of keywords. For example, « call ‘Paul’» or simply « ‘Paul’ ». You can also associate the type of number you want to call: «call ‘Paul’ at home», «’Paul’ home », etc. 3. Confirm by saying « yes » or « call ». > The call is initiated. Bob! Call Bob! Call Bob at home! Call Bob office! Bob mobile! Updating the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM In order to improve the compatibility of your Parrot MINIKIT SLIM with a larger number of phones, you can update the software of your device via Bluetooth or via USB. Première utilisation Charger le PARROT MINIKIT SLIM • Avant la première utilisation, le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM doit être chargé. Connecter un téléphone / PDA par Bluetooth Avant d’utiliser le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM avec votre téléphone, vous devez connecter les deux appareils. Si c’est la 1ère fois que vous utilisez cet appareil avec le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, vous devez tout d’abord effectuer un jumelage des deux appareils : lorsque les deux appareils se seront détectés mutuellement, il ne sera plus nécessaire de procéder à cette opération. 1. Depuis votre téléphone Bluetooth, lancez une recherche de périphériques Bluetooth (consultez la notice de votre téléphone ou connectez-vous sur www.parrot.com, rubrique Support). 2. Sélectionnez «MINIKIT SLIM». 14 3. Entrez « 1234 » sur votre téléphone lorsque celui-ci vous y invite. > Le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM annonce « appairage réussi » lorsque les deux appareils sont connectés. Vous pouvez jumeler jusqu’à 5 appareils. Si vous jumelez un sixième téléphone, le kit énonce « mémoire pleine ». Vous devez effacer la mémoire en appuyant simultanément sur les touches verte et rouge pendant 3 secondes. Ceci efface aussi tous les contacts et empreintes vocales associées. Utiliser la fonction téléphonie Avant d’utiliser la fonction téléphonie de votre Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, vous devez tout d’abord connecter votre téléphone/PDA à ce dernier. ► Consultez la section « Connecter un téléphone / PDA par Bluetooth » pour plus d’informations. Synchroniser le répertoire du téléphone Avec certains téléphones Bluetooth, le répertoire du téléphone est automatiquement synchronisé dans la mémoire du kit. Si votre téléphone ne supporte pas la synchronisation automatique, vous pouvez aussi utiliser la fonctionnalité Object Push de votre téléphone afin d’envoyer des contacts de votre téléphone vers le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM par Bluetooth. Pour cela : 1. Appuyez sur la molette et sélectionnez l’option Recevoir contacts. 2. Consultez la notice de votre téléphone pour connaître la procédure d’envoi de contacts par Object Push. Enregistrer des empreintes vocales Tous vos contacts, après synchronisation ou envoi par Object Push, sont automatiquement dotés d’une empreinte vocale dans le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. Vous n’avez donc pas à enregistrer votre propre empreinte sur chaque contact afin de procéder à un appel par reconnaissance vocale. Toutefois, si le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM interprète mal le nom d’un de vos contacts, il vous est possible d’enregistrer une nouvelle empreinte. Pour cela, appuyez sur la molette et sélectionnez l’option Ajouter une empreinte vocale. Commandes Bouton Fonctions - Accepter un appel entrant - Activer la fonction de reconnaissance vocale - Appui long : Appeler le dernier numéro composé - Appui court en communication : Transférer l'appel sur votre téléphone - Refuser un appel entrant - Terminer une communication - Régler le volume de la communication - Appui court en communication : activer la fonction DTMF (afin de gérer les serveurs vocaux interactifs) Recevoir un appel Un appel entrant est indiqué par une sonnerie. Le nom du contact est annoncé si le numéro de ce contact est enregistré dans le répertoire du téléphone connecté au Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. 15 • Si vous souhaitez accepter cet appel, appuyez sur la touche verte. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche rouge pour terminer l’appel. • Si vous souhaitez refuser cet appel, appuyez sur la touche rouge. Emettre un appel • Si le contact que vous souhaitez appeler se trouve dans le répertoire du téléphone connecté au Parrot MINIKIT SLIM : 1. Appuyez sur la molette et sélectionnez l’option Répertoire. 2. Sélectionnez une lettre et appuyez sur la molette. > Une fois le contact choisi : - Appuyez sur le bouton vert pour lancer l’appel vers le numéro par défaut. - Utilisez éventuellement la molette pour choisir parmi les différents numéros du contact. • Si le contact que vous souhaitez appeler ne se trouve pas dans le répertoire du téléphone connecté au Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, arrêtez votre véhicule à un emplacement approprié, puis lancez l’appel à partir de votre téléphone. 16 Emettre un appel par reconnaissance vocale Cette fonction n’est disponible que si vos contacts ont été préalablement synchronisés dans le kit mains libres. 1. Appuyez sur le bouton vert pour initier le processus de reconnaissance vocale. > Un signal sonore retentit pour vous informer du début du processus de reconnaissance vocale. 2. Prononcez le mot-clé « appeler » suivi du nom du contact que vous souhaitez appeler. > L’appel vers ce contact est automatiquement initié si la commande vocale a été bien comprise. Dans le cas contraire, le kit mains libres diffuse un message de confirmation. 3. Confirmez en prononçant « oui », « appelle » ou « appeler ». > L’appel vers ce contact est alors lancé. Vous avez la possibilité d’émettre un appel par plusieurs combinaisons de mots clés. Par exemple, « appelle ‘Paul’ », « appeler ‘Paul’ », ou simplement « Paul ». Vous pouvez également y associer le type de numéros de ce contact : « appelle ‘Paul’ ‘maison’ », « appeler ‘Paul’ ‘à la maison’ » ou « ‘Paul’ ‘maison’ ». Paul ! Appelle Paul ! Appeler Paul ! Mettre à jour le Parrot MINIKIT SLIM Afin de permettre la compatibilité de votre Parrot MINIKIT SLIM avec un plus grand nombre de téléphones, vous pouvez mettre à jour le logiciel de votre Parrot MINIKIT SLIM par Bluetooth ou par USB. Utilizar el PARROT MINIKIT SLIM por 1ª vez Cargar el PARROT MINIKIT SLIM • Antes de utilizar el Parrot MINIKIT SLIM por primera vez, hay que cargarlo completamente. Conectar un teléfono / PDA mediante Bluetooth Antes de utilizar el Parrot MINIKIT SLIM con su teléfono, hay que conectar ambos aparatos. Si se trata de la primera vez que utiliza este equipo con el Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, primero debe enlazar ambos aparatos. El proceso de enlace se requiere solamente una vez. 1. Desde su teléfono, inicie una búsqueda de dispositivos Bluetooth. (Consulte el manual de usuario de su teléfono o consulte la pestaña Soporte de nuestro sitio web www.parrot.com para más información). 2. Seleccione «MINIKIT SLIM». 3. Introduzca « 1234 » cuando se requiere el código PIN. 20 > El Parrot MINIKIT SLIM enuncia « Enlace finalizado con éxito » una vez finalizada el proceso de conexión entre ambos dispositivos. Se puede enlazar hasta 5 dispositivos. Al enlazar un sexto teléfono, el kit enuncia “memoria llena”. Hay que borrarla pulsando simultáneamente las teclas verde y rojo durante 3 segundos. Este proceso borra también todos los contactos y etiquetas vocales asociadas. Utilizar el modo Teléfono Antes de utilizar esta función, primero debe conectar su teléfono / PDA al Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. ► Consulte la sección “Conectar un teléfono / PDA mediante Bluetooth” para obtener más información. Sincronizar la agenda del teléfono Con algunos teléfonos Bluetooth, la agenda del teléfono se sincroniza automáticamente en la memoria del kit. Si no es el caso, puede utilizar la función Object Push de su teléfono para enviar contactos de su teléfono hacia el Parrot MINIKIT SLIM mediante Bluetooth. Para hacer esto: Mandos 1. Pulse la rueda y seleccione la opción Recibir contactos. 2. Consulte el manual de usuario de su teléfono para conocer el proceso de envío de contactos mediante Object Push. Grabar etiquetas vocales Tras la sincronización o el envío por Object Push, todos sus contactos están dotados de una etiqueta vocal en el MINIKIT SLIM. Entonces, no necesita grabar su propia etiqueta vocal en cada contacto para realizar una llamada mediante reconocimiento de voz. Sin embargo, si el Parrot MINIKIT SLIM no entiende el nombre de uno de sus contactos, se puede grabar una nueva etiqueta. Para hacer esto, pulse la rueda y seleccione la opción Añadir etiqueta vocal. Botones Funciones - Contestar a una llamada - Activar la función de reconocimiento de voz - Pulsación larga : llamar el último número marcado - Pulsación corta durante una llamada: pasar una comunicación activa al teléfono - Rechazar una llamada - Colgar - Ajustar el volumen de la llamada - Pulsación corta durante una llamada: activar la función DTMF (para controlar los servidores vocales interactivos) Recibir una llamada Una llamada entrante se indica por un timbre. El nombre del contacto está anunciado si su número está memorizado en la agenda del teléfono conectado al Parrot MINIKIT SLIM. 21 • Si desea aceptar esta llamada, pulse la tecla verde. Después, pulse la tecla roja para acabar la comunicación. Realizar una llamada mediante reconocimiento de voz • Si desea rechazar esta llamada, pulse la tecla roja. Realizar una llamada • Si el contacto que desea llamar está memorizado en la agenda del teléfono conectado al Parrot MINIKIT SLIM : 1. Pulse la rueda y seleccione la opción Agenda. 2. Seleccione una letra y pulse la rueda. > Una vez seleccionado el contacto: - Pulse la tecla verde para realizar la llamada al número por defecto. - Si es necesario, utilice la rueda para elegir entre los distintos números del contacto. • Si el contacto que desea llamar no está en la agenda del teléfono conectado al Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, pare su vehículo en un lugar adecuado e realice la llamada desde su teléfono. Se puede utilizar esta función solamente tras haber sincronizado los contactos en el kit manos libres. 1. Pulse la tecla verde para iniciar el proceso de reconocimiento de voz. > Una señal acústica le indica el principio del proceso de reconocimiento de voz. 2. Diga la palabra clave « llamar » seguida del nombre del contacto que desea llamar. > La llamada a este contacto se realiza automáticamente si el mando vocal está bien entendido. Si no es el caso, el kit manos libres enuncia un mensaje de confirmación. Se puede realizar una llamada por varias combinaciones de palabras clave. Por ejemplo, “llamar Paul”, “llame a Paul”, o simplemente “Paul”. También se puede añadir el tipo de número del contacto: “Llamar ‘Paul’” ‘casa’, “Llame a Paul a la casa” o “Paul casa”. 3.
