Q U I C K S TA R T G U I D E , S A F E T Y G U I D E L I N E S & L I M I T E D WA R R A N T Y PAX 3 QUICK START GUIDE LOA D M ATE R IA L LO OS E LE A F Remove oven lid located on the bottom of device. Use multi-tool to firmly pack ground material inside of oven until at least halfway full. Replace oven lid back on device. For a more efficient session with less material, use the half pack oven lid. Chamber lid USING THE CONCENTRATE INSERT 1. Ensure PAX oven is material-free before using insert. 2. Place small amount of concentrate into chamber. Avoid allowing concentrates into the two chamber tubes. 3. Replace chamber lid. Insert end piece into PAX oven. 4. Turn PAX on and let heat for at least 30 seconds before vaporizing. 5. When finished, turn off PAX and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before removing insert. PRO TIPS: HEAD TO PAX.COM FOR MORE TIPS AND TRICKS Use solid concentrates: A very small amount of a waxy or buttery consistency works best. Use a small amount: Prevent concentrate from leaking out by using just a small amount of material. Use a high temp: See quick start guide to set temp to “high” and access a wider range of temps with the PAX Vapor App. Clean regularly: Soak metal lid in isopropyl alcohol and use pipe cleaners to detail inside of chamber. While stains and signs of use are normal, they should not affect functionality. Replace the O-ring: If worn, replace the red inner ring that holds the lid in place on the insert chamber. P OWE R O N Turn on PAX 3 with a quick press down in the middle of mouthpiece, located at top of device. The LED lights will begin to pulse purple, indicating oven is heating. Once LED lights turn green, PAX 3 is ready for use. HEATING UP READY Inhale with a gentle, cigar-like draw. P OWE R O F F To turn off PAX 3, quickly press down again in the center of mouthpiece. The LED lights will turn off. PAX will also automatically turn off after 3 consecutive minutes of non-use. BAT TE RY A N D C H A RG I N G To see battery level, gently shake device. White LED light petals will light up to indicate how much battery is available. The more petals lit, the more charge PAX 3 has. To charge PAX 3, plug one side of USB cable into charging dock and plug the other side into a computer. Place device on dock. PAX 3 is charging when the LED light petals begin pulsing white. PAX 3 is fully charged when all four petals stop pulsing and turn solid. 0–25% 25–50% 50–75% 75–100% TE M P E R AT U R E CO NTRO L Enhance flavor profile of material and adjust vapor production by changing the temperature setting. While device is powered on and showing purple or green lights, enter temp set mode by pressing down in center of mouthpiece for two seconds. The LED light indicator will show the color of your current setting. LOW MEDIUM LOW MEDIUM HIGH HIGH To select a temperature or change your current setting, cycle through the four different temperatures by quickly pressing in the center of the mouthpiece. When desired temperature is reached and indicated on the LED, exit temperature set mode by again pressing down in the middle of the mouthpiece or by shaking the device. C LE A N I N G A N D M AI NTE N A N C E PAX 3 works most optimally when the vapor path and oven screen are residue-free. Use the Maintenance Kit included to clean PAX 3. Use the wire brush for heavier cleaning or the pipe cleaners for lighter cleaning. Remove mouthpiece and insert brush or pipe cleaner into the vapor path, scrubbing back and forth. Ensure oven lid is also removed during cleaning. Remember to replace screens every so often. Utilisez l’outil polyvalent pour bourrer fermement la substance moulue dans le four afin de le remplir au moins à moitié. Replacez le cache du four sur l’appareil. Pour une session plus efficiente avec moins de substance, utilisez le demi-cache de four. Joint torique (sous le cache de chambre) d. Cache de chambre USAGE DE L’INSERT DE CONCENTRÉ 1. Assurez-vous que le four PAX est dépourvu de substance avant d’utiliser l’insert. 2. Placez une faible quantité de concentré dans la chambre. Évitez l’infiltration des concentrés dans les deux tubes de chambre. 3. Replacez le cache de chambre. Insérez l’embout dans le four PAX. 4. Allumez le PAX et laissez chauffer au moins 30 secondes avant de vapoter. 5. Une fois terminé, arrêtez le PAX et laissez refroidir 2-3 minutes avant de retirer l’insert. CONSEILS PROS : RENDEZ-VOUS SUR PAX.COM POUR DES CONSEILS ET ASTUCES. Utilisez des concentrés solides : une très faible quantité de consistance cireuse ou onctueuse fonctionne mieux. Utilisez une faible quantité : évitez toute fuite de concentré en employant seulement une faible quantité de substance. Utilisez une température élevée : consultez le guide de prise en main pour régler la température sur “high” (haute) et accédez à une palette étendue de températures avec l’app PAX Vapor Nettoyez régulièrement : imbibez le cache métallique d’alcool isopropylique et utilisez des cure-pipes pour les détails dans la chambre. Les taches et signes d’usure sont normaux : ils ne devraient pas affecter la fonctionnalité. Remplacez le joint torique : En cas d’usure, remplacez la bague intérieure rouge maintenant le cache en place sur la chambre d’adaptateur. M I S E E N M A RC H E Allumez le PAX 3 d’une pression rapide au milieu de l’embout, situé audessus de l’appareil. Les témoins DEL initient des impulsions violettes, indiquant que le four chauffe. Dès que les témoins DEL deviennent verts, le PAX 3 est prêt à l’emploi. CHAUFFAGE PRÊT Inhalez d’une bouffée tranquille comme avec un cigare. ARRÊT Pour éteindre le PAX 3, appuyez rapidement à nouveau sur le centre de l’embout. Les témoins DEL s’éteignent. Le PAX s’éteint aussi automatiquement après 3 minutes consécutives sans usage. BAT TE R I E E T C H A RG E Pour connaître le niveau de la batterie, secouez doucement l’appareil. Des pétales DEL blancs s’allument pour indiquer l’autonomie de la batterie. Plus de pétales allumés, plus le PAX 3 est chargé. Pour charger le PAX 3, enfichez un bout du câble USB dans le socle de charge et l’autre bout dans un ordinateur. Placez l’appareil sur le socle. Le PAX 3 se charge lorsque les pétales DEL initient des impulsions en blanc. Le PAX 3 est chargé à fond lorsque les quatre pétales cessent les impulsions et restent allumés. 0–25% 25–50% 50–75% 75–100% CONTRÔLE DE TEMPÉRATURE Rehaussez le profil aromatique de la substance et ajustez la production de vapeur en modifiant le réglage de température. Avec l’appareil allumé et affichant des témoins violets ou verts, passez en mode de réglage de température en appuyant au centre de l’embout pendant deux secondes. Le témoin DEL indicateur affiche la couleur de votre réglage actuel. BAS MOYEN BAS MOYEN HAUT HAUT Pour sélectionner une température ou modifier votre réglage actuel, faites défiler les quatre températures différentes d’une pression rapide au centre de l’embout. Une fois la température désirée atteinte, indiquée sur la DEL, sortez du mode de réglage de température en appuyant à nouveau au milieu de l’embout ou en secouant l’appareil. NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE Le PAX 3 offre un usage optimal si le passage de vapeur et la grille du four ne présentent aucun résidu. Utilisez le kit de maintenance fourni pour nettoyer le PAX 3. Utilisez la brosse en acier pour un nettoyage approfondi ou le curepipe pour un nettoyage plus léger. Retirez l’embout et insérez la brosse ou le cure-pipe dans le passage de vapeur et frottez avec un mouvement de va-etvient. Assurez-vous que le cache du four est aussi retiré durant le nettoyage.
