Useful features duringa callHandset equalizerThis feature clarifies the voice of theperson you are talking to, producing amore natural-sounding voice that iseasier to hear and understand.Press M   N repeatedly to select “Off” ,“High tone”, or “Low tone” whiletalking.Note:RWhen this feature is activated,   isdisplayed while talking.RDepending on the condition andquality of your telephone line, thisfeature may emphasise existing linenoise. Changing the handset nameEach handset can be given acustomized name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”,etc.). This is useful when you makeintercom calls between handsets. Youcan also select whether or not thehandset name is displayed in standbymode. The default setting is “Off”. Caller ID number auto editfeatureOnce you call back an edited number,the handset which was used to call backremembers the area code and format ofthe edited number. The next timesomeone calls from the same areacode, caller information is customized bythe handset as follows:– When the call is being received, theCaller ID number is displayed in thesame format as the edited number.– After the call has ended, the caller’sphone number is displayed in thesame format as the edited number,when reviewed from the caller list.For example, you can use this feature toset the handset to ignore the area codeof callers in your area, so that you cancall these local numbers using callerinformation without dialing the area code.To activate this feature, you must edit anentry in the caller list, then call thatnumber.
