Other settingsSmart function key (  key)The Smart function key (  key) is locatedon the bottom of the handset and informs youwith its flashing to allow you to activate thefollowing features by simply pressing this key.nWhen the   indicator flashes rapidly,you can:– Answer the call (outside call, intercom).(page 21, 24)– Stop paging.– Stop the alarm sound. Bluetooth devices are disconnected from thebase unit. This feature allows the base unit totry to reconnect the Bluetooth devices atregular intervals when it returns within baseunit range. You can set the interval. Thedefault setting is “1 min”.Important:RWhen 3 Bluetooth devices (2 cellularphones and 1 headset) are paired to thebase unit, only 2 Bluetooth devices can beused with the unit at the same time, and thebase unit loses its connection from otherBluetooth devices. PhonebookYou can store up to 3,000 phonebook entriesand assign a name (16 characters max.) andup to 3 phone numbers to each (24 digits max.each). You can also assign a label to eachphone number, and assign each phonebookentry to a group (page 27). The followinggroups are available:– Group 1: “Home”*1 (default)– Group 2: “Cell 1”*1– Group 3: “Cell 2”*1– Group 4-9: You can change the groupname for each group.*1 For groups 1-3, the group names cannotbe changed.The total number of entries that can be storedvaries depending on how many phonenumbers you have stored for each entry.
