Glass Tray
1. DO NOT operate the oven without the Holler Ring and the Glass Tray in
place.
2. DO NOT operate the oven Without the Glass Tray fully engaged on the drive
hub, improper cooking or damage to the oven could result. Verify that the
Glass Tray is properly engaged and rotating by observtng its rotation when
you press Start, Note: The Glass Tray can turn in either direction
Use only the Glass Tray specifically designed tor this oven Do NOT substi-
tute any other glass tray,
. It the Glass Tray is not. allow to cool belore cleaning or placing in water.

Examine Your Oven
Unpack oven, remove all packing material and examine the oven lor any dam
age such as dents, broken door latches or cracks in the door. Notity dealer
immediately it oven is damaged. DO NOT install it oven is damaged.
Placement of Oven
t The oven must be placed on a ilat, stable surface. Place the front suriace oi
the door three inches or more from the counter top edge to avoid accidental
tipping of the microwave oven during normal use. For proper operation. the
oven must have SUIIICleflI air flow. Allow 3'll'lCheS (7.6 cm) at space on both
sides of the oven and t-inch (2.5 cml of space on top at the oven.
(a) DO NOT block air vents. if they are blocked during operation, the oven
may be overheated and damaged.

range. or dishwasher.
(c) DO NOT operate oven when room humidity is excessive

A Safety Precautions
Follow These Salety Precautions When Cooking in Your Oven
IMPORTANT
Proper cooking depends upon the power, the time setting and quantity of
food. It you use a smaller portion than recommended but cook at the time
for the recommended portion, lire could result.
1) HOME CANNING I STERILIZING / DRYING FOODS /
SMALL QUANTlTIES OF FOODS
- DO NOT use your oven tor home canning Your oven cannot maintain the tood
at the proper canning temperature. The tood may be contaminated and then
spoil
- DO NOT use the microwave oven to sterilize objects (baby bottles, eta). lt is
difficult to keep the oven at the high temperature needed for sterilization
- DO NOT dry meats, herbs, truits or vegetables in your oven. Small quantities
of food or loads with low moisture content can dry out, scorch or catch on tire it
overheated.
2) POPCORN
t Popcorn may be popped in a microwave oven corn popper. Microwave pop—
' corn whtch pops in its own package is also available. Follow popcorn manur
tacturers‘ directions and use a brand suitable for the cooking power of your
mlcrowave oven.
CAUTION: When usmg pro-packaged microwave popcorn, you can follow
recommended package instructions or use the popcorn pad (reler to page 12),
Otherwise, the popcorn may not pop adequately or may ignite and cause a

5) GLASS TRAY! COOKING CONTAINERS I FOIL
- Cooking containers get hot during microwavmg. Heat is transferred irom the
HOT iood to the container and the Glass Tray. Use pot holders when removing
containers from the oven or when removing lids or plastic wrap covers lrorri
cooking containers to avoid burns
- The Glass Tray Will get hot during cooking. it should be allowed to cool belore
handling or beiore paper products, such as paper plates or microwave popcorn
bags, are placed in the oven for microwave cooking,

toil and interior oven walls or door.
