There is no proof, however, that these low power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low power wireless devices emit low levels of radio frequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. Whereas high levels of RF can produce health effects (by heating tissue), exposure to low-level RF that does not produce heating effects causes no known adverse health effects. Many studies of low-level RF exposures have not found any biological effects. Some studies have suggested that some biological effects might occur, but such findings have not been confirmed by additional research. DMC-TZ50 has been tested and found to comply with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled equipment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines in Supplement C to OET65. Please refer to the SAR test report that was uploaded at FCC website. This device should not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. FCC Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. FCC caution: To maintain compliance with FCC regulations, shielded interface cables must be used with this equipment. Operation with non-approved equipment or unshielded cables may result in interference to radio and TV reception. Any changes or modifications not approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. I want to change my web album ‘Private’/ ‘Public’ settings Your web album can be set to either ‘Only people I have informed can view (Private)’ or ‘Anyone can view (Public)’, but this setting cannot be changed via your camera. Change the setting with your computer. No access points are displayed. I cannot connect to an access point • If you are suddenly unable to use T-Mobile HotSpots having successfully used them before, it is possible that your user ID usage period has expired. Purchase a T-Mobile HotSpot account and make the appropriate settings on your camera to use the service again. Contact T-Mobile for details. (Updating settings → P.36) • Check that the access point you wish to connect to is currently open for use. • Access points may not be displayed if reception is poor. • Depending on their settings, some access points may not be displayed even if reception is available. Check the access point settings. • Try the following - Bring the camera (particularly the antenna grip part) closer to the access point - Remove any obstacles between the camera and the access point - Point the camera in different directions Older pictures are displayed first when viewing web album pictures E-mails containing the URL are not delivered/I cannot send e-mails • Check that the e-mail address has been set correctly (P.22). • This function can only be used if a Gmail (e-mail service supplied by Google) address has been set as your Google account (P.12) Username (e-mail address). I can only select one picture to send, even when using ‘MULTI SELECT’ Web album picture or data capacity is full. Delete unneeded pictures from your web album (P.20). I have forgotten my WiFi mode password Perform a ‘RESET Wi-Fi SET’ from the Setup Menu. Note that Settings information for access points other than ‘tmobile’ (user ID, password, etc.) will also be reset. (‘tmobile’ settings will be reset to default.) I want to know my camera’s MAC address Select ‘Wi-Fi SET’ → ‘DISPLAY MAC ADDRESS’. (MAC address: Globally unique identification codes given individually to each network device - in this case the camera.) I want to swap between the card and the internal memory when sending pictures You cannot swap between the card and the internal memory during communication. You can only use the card (or internal memory) in use when communication with the access point is established. Pictures cannot be sent to/displayed in/deleted from my web album It is possible that the web album server or the connection line is busy. Try again later.
