Toner cartridge and drum unit
Caution:

contain toner residue.

the upper cover.

You can load letter or legal size paper in the paper cassette. The paper cassette can hold up to 150 sheets of
75 gm2 (20 lb.) paper. You may use 60 gm: to 90 g/m2 (18 lb. to 24 lb.) paper.
Note:
0Avoid paper with a cotton and/or tiber content that Is over 20 %, such as letterhead paper or those
used tor resumes.

Remove the paper cassette by pulling it out of the
unit.

exceed the upper limit on the paper cassette,
otherwise the paper may Jam or mum-teed.

When the telephone line cord and the power cord are connected, the unit will automatically start to detect the
dialing mode.

Installing the PANA LINK software
1 Stan Windows 95 or Windows 98 and close all applications.
2 Insert the included CD into your CD-ROM drive.
oAn installation dialog box should be displayed automatically
elf it is not displayed. follow the instmctions 1) and 2).

2) Type "d:\setup" (depending on the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive), and then click OK. (If you are

This Limited Warranty Excludes both Labor and Parts tor: batteries, antennas, and cosmetic parts

contacting a Panasonic Services Company (PASC) Factory Servicenter listed in the Servicenter
Directory. Or call, toll lree, 1-800-HELP FAX (1-800-435-7329) to locate a PASC Factory Servicenter,
Carry-In or mail-in sen/ice in Puerto Fllco can be obtained during the warranty period by calling the
Panasonic Sales Company telephone number listed in the Servicenter Directory.
This warranty ls extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other prool of date of
original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects In material or workmanship which occur during normal
use and (when applicable) does not cover the film cartridge, the toner cartridge and drum unit or the print
and ink cartridge. The inability at this product to interface with any specific computer is not a
manuiacturing detect and is outside of the scope of this Limited Warranty. In no event shall die warrantor
be liable by reason of such incompatibility. The warranty does not cover damages which occur in
shipment, or lailures which are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor such as non Panasonic
ink camidges, or lailures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect. mishandling, faulty
installation, misapplicalion, set-up adjustments, improper operation or maintenance, alteration,
