You can load letter or legal size paper in the paper cassette. The paper cassette can hold up to 150 sheets of
75 glrn2 (20 lb.) papert You may use 60 g/rn2 to 90 g/m2 (16 lb. to 24 lb.) paper.

1 Remove the paper cassette by pulling it out ol the

2 Fan the stack of paper to prevent a paper Jam and
insert the paper into the paper cassette.
uThe height of the stack of paper should not
exceed the upper limit on the paper cassette,
otherwise the paper may jam or multi‘leed.

0Avoid paper with a cotton and/or fiber content that is over 20 %. such as letterhead paper or those
used for resumes.
0Do not use different types or thicknesses of paper in the paper cassette at the same tlme. This may

0Avold extremely smooth or shiny paper that is highly textured. Also avoid paper that is coated,
damaged or wrinkled.

1 Open the document feeder tray,

Setting up the voice message and document reception
The total recording time(including the greeting messages) is about 18 minutes. If messages are recorded in a
noisy room, the recording time may be shortened up to 11 minutes.
To set the unit to record incoming voice messages and receive fax documents, follow the steps beiow.

Installing the PANA LlNK software
1 Start Windows 95 or Windows 98 and close all applications.
2 Insert the included CD into your CD-ROM drive.
GAn installation dialog box should be displayed automatically.
-If setup wizard does not start automatically, click start. choose Run... Type "d:l.setup" (depending on
the drive letter of your CD—ROM drive). Click OK.
