D-RING’INSTALLATION To assemble the new D-RING to the FACTOR 625, use the following steps: ¯ Removeall the CABLES from the old D-RING. ¯ Loosen, and removethe two (2) 1/4-20 NUTS,and the 1/4 IN. WASHER from the end of the RING CABLE. ¯ Slide one (1) VINYLCAPover the end of the new D-RING. ¯ Removeand discard old D-RING,and replace with the new D-RING. ¯ LOOSELY attach the 1/4 IN. WASHER, and the two (2) 1/4 IN. NUTSto the end of the D..RING CABLE. (POSITION THE 1/4-28 NUTS HALF WAYUP ON THE THREADSOF TIlE DRING CABLE UNTIL CABLE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE. DO NOT TIGI-][TEN NUTS AT THIS TIME) STEP: 2 CABLE INSTALLATION NOTE: FOR EASE OF CABLE REPLACEMENTTHE D-RING END OF THE OLD CABLES MAY BE CUT OFF. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE SOME PULLEYS WILL NEED TO BE LOOSENEDAND REMOVED TEMPORALLY IN ORDER TO REMOVE OLD CABLES. To replace the ROTARY CABLE(6406001), or (depending on which RETROKIT being assembled) the LEGPRESS/ROTARY CABLE (6405701), see the drawing, and use the following steps: ¯ Removethe SHOCK CORD from the BASEof the 625, then remove it from the end of the old ROTARY CABLE. ¯ Removeand discard the old ROTARY CABLE,and replace it with the new ROTARY CABLE. (THE CABLE MUST BE ROUTED THE SAME WAYIT WAS REMOVED). ¯ Run the ROTARY CABLEthrough the hole of the D-RINGshown in (DETAILA )on drawing, and attach one (1) D-RINGCABLECLIP around the ball end of the ROTARY CABLE. ¯ Attach one (1) SHOCKCORDto the D-RINGCABLECLIP on the end of the ROTARY CABLE as shown in (DETAILA). ¯ Route the SHOCK CORDthe same way that it was removed. Attach one (I) SWIVEL to the end the SHOCK CORD,and slide the swivel over the BARon the BASEas shown in (VIEWB-B). Replace the SHOCK CORDto its original position on the BAR ¯ IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THAT THE D-RING CABLE CLIP IS POSITIONED VERTICALLY ABOVE THE D-RING. 607/608 3. FACTOR 625 D-RING RETRO KIT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Replace the remaining CABLES in the following’or~er using the steps outlined in STEP2: (PLEASE REPLACE ONE CABLE AT A TIME, REPLACING IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION AROUND THE D-RING. SEE DRAWING) ¯ ¯ ¯ PEC/D-RING CABLE(6406101) MULTI PRESS CABLE(6405801) LAT CABLE(6405901) Whenall of the CABLES have been replaced, adjust the height of the D-RINGon the D-RINGCABLE by raising or lowering the two (2) 1/4-28 IN. NUTS. (THE D-RINGSHOULD REST JUST BELOW THE D-RINGCABLECLIPS ON THE CABLEENDS). When the correct height is obtained. SECURELY tighten the two (2) 1/4-28 nuts together.
