INTENDED USE
The Quick-Flex Starter Fixture Cable is a combination of the QC and QFC. This product wires
directly into a home-run junction box, a switch box or a junction box located above a switch
location; it provides power to the rst xture from the above mentioned locations.
ELECTRICAL
•Rated for use on 20-amp branch circuits.
•All conductors are No. 12 AWG copper with -20°C to +90°C thermoplastic insulation rated
600V.
•All components provide a fully rated No. 12 AWG grounding conductor.
•Fixture leads are No. 18 AWG solid copper with -20°C to +90°C thermoplastic insulation
rated 600V. Prestripped, solid-color leads for easy installation into side, back or push-in-
type terminals. 10 amp max.
•RRL option includes 18 AWG conductors; 3-amp max.
•Safety-keying prevents accidental mating of components with dierent voltages.
SYSTEM FEATURES
•Pin and socket contacts.
•Color-coded labels for quick voltage identication.
•No xture ground lead to connect. Snap-in tting provides ground connection for US only.
•Auto-latching springs for easy male/female connections.
•Available in varying lengths to suit most common xture spacing requirements.
•Cast snap-in connector provided on whip-end for fast, easy installation into a 1/2" trade
size knockout.
•Dustcover available for unused ports: QUICK FLEX DUST COVER J50.
•Green armor standard for easy identication in healthcare facilities.
•Plenum rated.

•Built to UL Standard 183 for Manufactured Wiring Systems and suitable for air-handling
spaces above grid ceiling as described in NEC 300.22(C).
