THE EASYHEAT ADVANTAGE
Other suppliers offer in-line heating components.
Only the EasyHeat system offers all this:
User-friendly plumbing connections
and plug-in installation
No risk of burning through pipe, even
if dry-out occurs
• Energy-saving thermostat, included
GFCI with test/reset buttons and
indicator light for electrical safety
• Cable rated to withstand 60 PSI
• Complete size selection: 10–270 feet
• CSA Certied for drinking water
the thermostat
Included with the EasyHeat In-Line Heater, our
SL-2G thermostat with a 10-foot sensor detects
the pipe temperature and
energizes the cable as
required.
The thermostat includes
an integral ground fault
circuit interrupter (GFCI)
for safe operation. The
GFCI includes test/reset
buttons, and the system
cannot be falsely tripped
due to a power failure.
Indicator lights on both
the thermostat receptacle
and power cord plug provide conrmation when
power is applied to the heating cable.
SIMPLE PLUG-IN INSTALLATION
Property owners and contractors can depend on
a quick, trouble-free installation. We designed the
EasyHeat In-Line Heater with industry-leading
features to make the job easy.
For cable lengths over 40 feet, the
package doubles as a dispensing reel
that ensures a smooth transfer of
cable into the pipe.
EasyHeat uses the most exible
in-line cable available, so it pulls
easily around elbows and bends
in the water system.
The T-assembly uses a 1-1⁄4" Philmac
tting to eliminate the need for an
adapter tting. 1" adapters are
also available.
Plug the system into an ordinary
120 volt outlet – there is no need
to hardwire the connections.
ENERGY-EFFICIENT
With EasyHeat, a thermostatic control energizes
the cable only as required to maintain your
temperature setting. The cable is designed for
use in pipe wrapped with insulation – such as
inexpensive, easily installed 1/2" closed-cell foam
– to conserve heat and provide additional freeze
protection.
