Grow Light Lift Kit
Congratulations on your purchase of a state of the
art wireless Sun Winch™ Grow Light Lift System!
To ensure that you get the most out of your Sun Winch™ lift kit, please
read these instructions completely and carefully BEFORE installing or
operating your system.
The Sun Winch™ lift system is designed to control a total lighting load of
not more than 50 pounds. Ensure that the light, ballast (if required) and any
hood vent hardware DOES NOT EXCEED 50 pounds.

INSTALLATION
1.nInstallthe3mountingrailsectionsintoanexistingoverhead
support using the screws provided. It is the user responsibility to
ensure that the support used is adequate to bear the weight of the
lift system and grow light with associated hardware. The center
holesonthe2outsidemountsshouldbespacedtoaccommodate
the length of the grow light mounts.
2.nRemoveoneSunWinchLiftMotorandmountitononeofthe
outsiderails.EnsurethepinintheLiftMotormountalignswiththe
center hole in the rail.
3.nRemovethesecondSunWinchLiftMotorandmountitonthe
otheroutsiderail.EnsurethepinintheLiftMotormountalignswith
the center hole in the rail.
4.nRemovetheReceivermoduleandmountitonthecenterrailsection.
5.nAttachoneend ofaLift MotorcordtotheReceiver module.
AttachtheotherendtotheLiftMotor.
6.nAttachthesecondLiftMotorcordasdescribedabove.
7.nAttachoneendofthepowersupplytotheReceivermodule.Plug
theotherendofthepowersupplyintoanappropriate120Vsingle
phase electrical outlet.
The system is now ready to operate. Each Sun WinchLiftreceiveris
pre-assignedtostation#1.EachSunWinchLiftSystemRemote
is designed to independently control 8 different grow light setups.
WARNING: If you wish to control two grow light setups independently,
YOU MUST assign each receiver a separate station number.

a single station number from 1 to 8.

OPERATION
To lift your grow light to the desired height, press the station button
once and then a direction button. HOLD DOWN the direction button
untilthedesiredheightisreached.Releasethedirectionbutton.

To change the station number of a receiver, read the following instructions.
Remove the cover on the receiver by removing the four small
screws. Decide what number you wish to use and remove the jumpers
on the station ID DIP switches on the receiver board. See matrix
below for proper position of the jumpers.
