Sun Winch
Grow Light Lift Kit
Congratulations on your purchase of a state of the
art wireless Sun Winch™ Grow Light Lift System!
To ensure that you get the most out of your Sun Winch™ lift kit, please
read these instructions completely and carefully BEFORE installing or
operating your system.
The Sun Winch™ lift system is designed to control a total lighting load of
not more than 50 pounds. Ensure that the light, ballast (if required) and any
hood vent hardware DOES NOT EXCEED 50 pounds.

INSTALLATION
1.nInstallthe3mountingrailsectionsintoanexistingoverhead
support using the screws provided. It is the user responsibility to
ensure that the support used is adequate to bear the weight of the
lift system and grow light with associated hardware. The center
holesonthe2outsidemountsshouldbespacedtoaccommodate
the length of the grow light mounts.
2.nRemoveoneSunWinch™LiftMotorandmountitononeofthe
outsiderails.EnsurethepinintheLiftMotormountalignswiththe
center hole in the rail.
3.nRemovethesecondSunWinch™LiftMotorandmountitonthe
otheroutsiderail.EnsurethepinintheLiftMotormountalignswith
the center hole in the rail.
4.nRemovetheReceivermoduleandmountitonthecenterrailsection.
5.nAttachoneend ofaLift MotorcordtotheReceiver module.
AttachtheotherendtotheLiftMotor.
6.nAttachthesecondLiftMotorcordasdescribedabove.
7.nAttachoneendofthepowersupplytotheReceivermodule.Plug
theotherendofthepowersupplyintoanappropriate120Vsingle
phase electrical outlet.
The system is now ready to operate. Each Sun Winch™Liftreceiveris
pre-assignedtostation#1.EachSunWinch™LiftSystemRemote
is designed to independently control 8 different grow light setups.
WARNING: If you wish to control two grow light setups independently,
YOU MUST assign each receiver a separate station number.

Each receiver can be assigned
a single station number from 1 to 8.

OPERATION
To lift your grow light to the desired height, press the station button
once and then a direction button. HOLD DOWN the direction button
untilthedesiredheightisreached.Releasethedirectionbutton.

To change the station number of a receiver, read the following instructions.
Remove the cover on the receiver by removing the four small
screws. Decide what number you wish to use and remove the jumpers
on the station ID DIP switches on the receiver board. See matrix
below for proper position of the jumpers.
