Read instructions carefully before attempting to install fixture. Retain instruction for future reference.
Disconnect power before installing or servicing. This fixture must be wired in accordance
with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and ordinances.
z A qualified electrician should perform all wiring. This fixture is for outdoor use and
should not be used in areas with limited ventilation or high ambient temperatures.
z IMPORTANT: In order to comply with established electrical code, the installer must seal the area
around the mounting plate and the wall, with silicone sealant to provide a watertight seal.
INSTALLATION – Surface or Recessed Box Mounting
1. Unhinge refractor and remove reflector.
2. Remove mounting plate from fixture.
3. Determine size of recessed box and knock out corresponding holes on mounting plate.
4. Place back gasket pad between mounting plates and Box. Pull wires through center hole of mounting plate.
5. Use approved connectors to connect fixture leads to supply leads, and make wire splices inside junction box.
6. Install mounting plate with screws over recessed surface box. Install the provided self-adhesive gasket to
the back of the fixture to cover the junction box. Also be sure to caulk between mounting plate and box to
insure a weather tight seal.
7. Install fixture over threaded nipple and attach lock-nut. Adjust fixture alignment for horizontal lamp orientation.
8. Replace reflector and install lamp.
9. Replace lens; make sure that the lens gasket is properly seated around the perimeter of the lens to insure a
weather tight seal.

WIRING:
CAUTION: Check that voltage is compatible
With fixture ballast. Use approved connectors
For all electrical connections.

1. Connect the black fixture lead to the black supply lead.
2. Connect the white fixture lead to the white supply lead.
3. Connect the grounding fixture lead to the green supply lead.

BULB INSTALLATION AND RE-LAMPING
1. When re-lamping, turn power off and allow the fixture to cool.
2. Prior to installing the lamp in the fixture, check the lamp is of proper type and wattage. Screw the lamp securely into
the socket, back the lamp out one to two turns, then secures the lamp back in, making sure it is secured.
3. Close the diffuser and secured with screws. Be sure that the gasket is firmly seated in the proper channel.
