After pressing the start pad, the wash light comes on and continues to flash or comes on

steady, but there is no dishwasher operation at all.

One or both of the door switches have not closed, preventing dishwasher operation.

To properly check this condition, first bypass the door switches to test run the dishwasher.

The door switches should never be left bypassed, but can be bypassed to check function.

Checking voltage on the wires or resistance of the switches can be inconclusive. If the

dishwasher does start and run, replace the door latch assembly. If the dishwasher is still

inoperative replace control.
