AmbiGlow Plus Base

Ambiglow adds a new dimension to your

viewing experience. Innovative Ambiglow

technology enlarges your experience by

creating a halo of light on and around the base.

Its fast processor analyses the incoming image

and adapts the colour and brightness of the

light to match the image. Additionally, the

Ambiglow Plus lighted base can cycle through

different hues, or allow the user to manually

select the hue or timing of the light for ambient

coloured mood lighting experience. Colour,

vibrancy and excitement move beyond the

screen, bringing a more thrilling, intense and

immersive viewing experience.

AH-IPS technology

This latest Philips display uses advanced AH-

IPS panels, resulting in superior colour

reproduction, response time and power

consumption. Unlike standard TN panels, AH-

IPS panels show consistent colour even at 178-

degree wide angles and in pivot mode. With

remarkable performance, AH-IPS is best suited

for applications demanding colour accuracy

and consistent brightness at all times, such as

photo retouching, graphics applications and

web browsing.

Ultra-narrow Border

The new Philips displays feature ultra-narrow

borders which allow for minimal distractions

and maximum viewing size. Especially suited

for multi-display or tiling setups like gaming,

graphic design and professional applications,

the ultra-narrow border display gives you the

feeling of using one large display.

16:9 Full HD display

Picture quality matters. Regular displays deliver

quality, but you expect more. This display

features enhanced Full HD 1920 x 1080

resolution. With Full HD for crisp detail paired

with high brightness, incredible contrast and

realistic colours, expect a true-to-life picture.

Flicker-Free technology

Due to the way brightness is controlled on

LED-backlit screens, some users experience

flicker on their screen which causes eye

fatigue. Philips Flicker-Free technology applies

a new solution to regulate brightness and

reduce flicker for more comfortable viewing.

MHL technology

Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is a mobile

audio/video interface for directly connecting

mobile phones and other portable devices to

high-definition displays. An optional MHL cable

allows you to simply connect your MHL-

capable mobile device to this large Philips MHL

display and watch your HD videos come to life

with full digital sound. Now not only can you

enjoy your mobile games, photos, movies or

other apps on its big screen, you can

simultaneously charge your mobile device so

you never run out of power halfway.

HDMI Ready

An HDMI-ready device has all the required

hardware to accept High-Definition

Multimedia Interface (HDMI) input. An HDMI

cable enables high-quality digital video and

audio to be transmitted over a single cable

from a PC or any number of AV sources

(including set-top boxes, DVD players, A/V

receivers and video cameras).
