The fireplace operates with a direct vent, balanced flue system. A direct vent gas fireplace is room-sealed using a ceramic glass. The fireplace use’s double pipe vent flue to pull air from outside & release exhaust gases to the outside. Clearances to combustible materials MUST be maintained. Refer to Installation Manual for clearance distances. The fireplace must be properly connected to a venting system. The Fireplace must be installed according to Flare Fireplaces requirements as presented in Installation Manual, as well as complying with all local codes that exist.
