NOISY EVAPORATOR FAN MOTOR

COMPLAINT:

Evaporator Fan Motor Vibrating When Freezer is Running

CAUSE:

Anchor nut holding fan motor bracket is loose

CORRECTION:

Replace the two plastic anchor nuts in the freezer liner that hold the fan motor

bracket to the liner with two anchor nuts part number Div46 2535303269745 (set of

two).

1. Remove the fan motor and the original plastic anchor nuts.

2. Remove backing tape from clips, and put the clip through the fan opening to the

inside of the liner

3. Using one of the mounting screws, push it through the hold in the liner and line

it with the hole in the new plate and stick the plate to the freezer liner.

4. Reinstall the fan motor and bracket. NOTE: You may need to hold the plate to

tighten the first time.
