WaveStation Docking Unit Layout
P1 / P2 LED have a simple function. They flash when there are no peripherals
plugged in or when the peripheral in not recognized. They remain ON when a
recognized peripheral is plugged into controller port 1 or 2.
The Signal LED indicates valid received rumble data from the Game Console to
the Docking Unit. A solid LED indicates valid rumble data received from the
game console. If the LED flashes quickly, it indicates that rumble data did not
make it to the controller. This is not serious as rumble data is updated many times
per second. If the LED remains OFF for a long period of time then rumble update
is being reduced. This could be due to range limitations or RF noise on
the channel
being used.
