Installing a PC serverSee chapter “Quick installation of thewireless connection to a PC server”.Connecting an additionalapplianceIt is possible to use an additional appliance,e.g.TV,VCR or CD recorder with the unit.You can choose between high level inputsensitivity (e.g.for a connected TV or VCR)and low level input sensitivity (e.g.for aconnected CD recorder).1Insert the red plug of a cinch cable to thered socket AUX IN R and the white plug tothe white socket AUX IN L.2Connect the other end of the cinch cable tothe audio outputs of the additional appliance.3Press SOURCE on the unit repeatedly untilAUX is selected.➜AUX:the high level input sensitivity for anadditional connected appliance isselected.To select the low level input sensitivity pressand hold for more than 2 seconds SOURCEon the unit until AUX CDR is selected.➜AUX CDR:the low level input sensitivityfor an additional connected appliance isselected.To toggle the input sensitivity press SOURCEagain for 2 seconds on the unit.orPress AUX on the remote controlrepeatedly until the desired input sensitivity(AUX or AUX CDR) is displayed.Note: It is not possible to connect a turntabledirectly to AUX IN L/R.If you wish to use aturntable, you have to connect an RIAA-amplifierto AUX IN L/R on the unit.Then connect theturntable to the RIAA-amplifier.PowerThe type plate is located on the rear ofthe unit.1Check whether the power voltage asshown on the type plate corresponds toyour local power voltage.
