Philips IntelliVue Cableless Measurement Solution
Philips IntelliVue Cableless Measurement Solution provides respiration rate,
NBP, SpO2, and pulse rate data to help enhance care and aid mobilization
of patients throughout the facility. These devices improve surveillance,
transmitting vital signs information to IntelliVue GuardianSoftware running
at a nurse’s station PC on General Floor / MedSurg Unit and help clinicians
with the early identification of deterioration with Early Warning Scoring
(EWS) available at the point of care during patient assessment. In a Tele
Unit or Intermediate Care Unit, the CL SpO2 and CL NBP can also enhance
surveillance, transmitting vital signs information to a central station to
help clinicians identify deteriorating conditions early. IntelliVue Cableless
Measurement devices are easy to apply and comfortable to wear and can be
used anywhere patient mobility is desired.

Key advantages
• Provides respiration rate, NBP, SpO2 ,
and pulse rate without cable clutter,
maintaining comfort and providing
mobility for once bedridden patients
• Easy to apply, small, and lightweight
measurement devices are comfortable
to wear, giving patients greater freedom
of movement
• Integral rechargeable Li-ion battery
reduces need to frequently order and
dispose of batteries

Takes you where you want to go
Allowing for greater patient ambulation, small and lightweight Philips IntelliVue Cableless
Measurement devices help cut the clutter of cables, enhancing mobility for once bedridden
patients and providing reliable wireless measurements to IntelliVue GuardianSoftware and
the Central Station. An integral rechargeable Li-ion battery is designed for long life and an
efficient use of resources.
Expanding surveillance virtually anywhere
Measure respiration rate, SpO2 , NBP, and pulse
rate for greater freedom and flexibility for patients
and clinicians. Measurements are sent to IntelliVue
GuardianSoftware to detect changes from baseline
that may indicate patient deterioration.

SpO2 measurement
The Philips IntelliVue Cableless SpO2 pod – including
SpO2 sensor – is a small, wrist-worn device designed
for comfort that provides SpO2 measurements,
Pleth waveform, and pulse rate. Signal-quality
indicator and perfusion index are also available.

cuff is a small device designed for comfort
that measures NBP and pulse rate.

Respiration rate measurement
The Philips IntelliVue Cableless Respiration pod – including attachment – is a small, body-worn device designed
for comfort that provides respiration and pulse rate. Respiration rate is an early indicator that a patient’s changing
condition may move towards deterioration. The cableless respiration pod automates collection of respiration rate
data based on a defined time interval, aiding the caregiver in early detection and necessary intervention.

Cableless measurements can assist during the recovery period, allowing you to collect
respiration rate, SpO2, NBP, and pulse rate while allowing for mobility and comfort.

Cuts the cable clutter
Philips IntelliVue Cableless Measurement devices provide patients with freedom of movement and
ambulation while allowing for reliable and secure transfer of vitals to IntelliVue GuardianSoftware
running in the background or the central station via the existing network infrastructure. If deviations
are detected, the system will verify data accuracy by repeating the measurements in a few minutes.

Fewer measurement cables help enhance patient
mobility by eliminating the wire between the SpO2,
NBP measurement device, and the monitor, while also
decreasing the potential for accidental disconnect.

Add more measurements to telemetry monitoring
beyond ECG, such as NBP and SpO2, and eliminate the
need for additional monitors.
