Average volume-assured pressure support
AVAPS delivers customized patient care by
automatically adapting pressure support to maintain
a consistent tidal volume. AVAPS automatically
adjusts to disease progressions and changing patient
needs. It helps to maintain optimal patient comfort
while supporting patient care and ventilation ecacy
and simplifying the titration process.1
AVAPS provides benecial physiological
improvements, resulting in a more ecient decrease
of PtcCO2 compared to BPV-S/T therapy alone.1
The AVAPS ventilation feature automatically
provides treatment for PaCO2 reduction.1
AVAPS has been developed to ensure a more
consistent tidal volume per breath while
delivering the comfort and advantages of
pressure support ventilation.1
